Local workout spot that provides nice cardio and weight lifting options. Only issue is that its a bit on the elderly side.

I've been working out here for over four years and I've never regretted my choice. I visited and tried out other gyms in the area but chose the Wellness Center (RP Fitness when I joined) because of the people. The management/employees have created an environment that is very conducive to long term engagement and success. It's a fairly large space and they offer just about any kind of equipment you could ask for. However, there are many gyms I visited with similar or better accommodations. The difference is the people. Since starting at RP Fitness years ago, I've invited friends and family to come and check it out and every single one of them joined and still works out here.

Not safe after the staff is gone. I have been a member for over 2 years. We dropped our membership after in July after the issue of safety could not be fixed. They have someone who props open the doors so you can walk in the building and go straight up to the track without having to use your key card. After bringing this to their attention, I was told it wasn't possible to get up their without the key card, but they would look into it. I have a video of myself walking in the back door of the building and all the way up to the track with no key card scanning at all. Due to not feeling safe, we decided to let our membership go.

Now for the last month I've been trying to reach Matt the owner and have been completely ignored. This is a terrible way to end a membership. I highly recommend, especially women, not to sign up with this gym at this time.

Paid for a trial membership for 21 days. But my information was put into the system wrong and no one seemed to know how to fix it. I couldn't register for classes and my key card wouldn't let me in the door. I emailed and called about it but no one replied back to me. So I paid for something I didn't get to use.

There is no finer place to exercise! The instructors and trainers are very knowledgeable -- and even better - they have the ability to make working fun ! This is not a gym for critical, elite snobbery.... there is no feeling of intimidation there. Everyone is encouraging and no one is judgmental. It's a comfortable environment -- with every level of intensity available....from Silver Sneakers for seniors to a very strenuous "boot camp" -- and everything in between. The goal is clearly customized to produce a workout appropriate for each client. Nikki and Kim are two of the finest trainers and instructors. .I don't know her name but I'm told that the woman who teaches yoga is also fantastic! Dave is so welcoming -- and Matt is conscientious and always meeting and exceeding the high level of customer expectations.

Being in a silver sneaker class myself, I look forward to Monday, Wednesday and Friday sessions with people who have rapidly become friends. It really helps to keep me enthused about never missing a class if I can possibly make it !

DO NOT join this gym if you know how to work out. The majority of the people that go here have no idea how to work out. Also, the lack of gym etiquette is astonishing. Half of the staff isn't very friendly either.

Three of my friends and I have all left this gym due to one particular individual. This particular individual spends "his" entire day in the gym, thinking he is working out. Examples of his lack of gym etiquette include: using an ab wheel in the free weight area, using an ab wheel in between the cables, placing his initialed towel on machines to hold them while he eats in the locker room, having social hour while occupying machines/benches/weights, placing his fanny pack and ab wheel on benches that he isn't using, not re-racking his army of 25 lb plates, incorrectly doing every exercise ever, and "working out" in front of racks of barbells so that nobody else can use them. If you still don't know who this individual is, he wears a pretty sweet bandana to the gym every day. (PS, if you have to use a lifting belt to bench press, you're probably doing it wrong)

One could only hope that management will some day realize how much money they are losing with clients leaving due to this one individual.

On the bright side, this was a great place to workout when the ignorant lifters aren't present.
