My husband and I had to cancel our memberships due to health issues and deaths in the family....it was just not the right time for us. I called the club and was told as long as they received a letter by the 10th of the month we would be canceled with no further charges. I sent the letter on 2/27 and our memberships were canceled. On 3/1 my bank account was all messed up when we were charged $78. I called the club and was told I needed to email the manager. I did so immediately. It took almost a week to get a response and we were told the charge was an annual fee, that I was uninformed about. I wrote back explaining all this and still have heard nothing. Terrible customer service!!! The franchisee of this club should know that their staff is terrible!!
*update** I finally heard back again, 11 days later, and was told I would have to contact the regional manager . This is ridiculous customer service for $78.

Motivating! Truly a judgment free space. The PF 360 strength classes are extremely challenging and exhilarating! The design your own workout is specifically geared to what your goals are at the moment and flexible enough to change as you meet your goals. Love it!

This location is so nice! It's so big and there's always plenty of equipment.
All of the equipment seems well maintained and I always see employees cleaning the equipment. There's fitness classes Monday-Friday as well.
Sometimes the hydro beds do smell a little funky though.

One of the worst problems I run into all the time is where to workout when I travel. My wife has family in Wilmington so I come here a couple of times a year and Planet Fitness has been a good spot for me to get workouts in.
The staff is pretty nice and helpful if you have questions. The locker room is large, clean, and usually well stocked with paper towels. The gym floor is pretty big. There is tons of cardio equipment and they have treadmills, stair steppers, row machines, and bikes. Crossfit bikes would be a nice addition, but this isn't the type of gym where you would really find it.
There is enough equipment here to get a good workout, but there are some fairly common machines that are not on the floor. They do not have a stand alone squat rack for example. If you want to do weighted squats you will have to you an assisted squat rack. I think the gym really tries to cater to a regular person trying to do cardio and lift some weights to get fit.
If you get a membership there are extras that you can get like tanning beds or massage chairs, but that isn't for me. Prices are pretty darn low and I always get mail from them to become a member with nice specials like joining for a dollar or a free month to start.
Also this location is located in a pretty convenient spot with ample parking. If you live in the area this is a nice spot to workout and you should take a look.

This gym is well worth the money! My membership due is minimal compared to all this gym offers me. There is all the latest equipment to get whatever exercise you want, and a trainer that is absolutely awesome! Brittany has classes all day long, she will get your heart pumping, and your muscles strong! She also watches your foam so there are no injuries. Also, the gym is very clean and the staff is friendly, they are constantly greeting, cleaning, and engaging with the clientele!

this place is dope.. massage beds, chairs, tanning, there's even a area were you push a button and wind blows you... shower option.. Great gym

Perfect for my early morning gym training. I train between 12 and 2 am and look forward to coming here 5 days a week. Membership price is perfect for me and the unlimited hydro massage and massage chairs are awesome. Plenty of room to train and very clean facility.

Couldn't ask for anything better in a gym. Lockers are clean, staff is friendly, everyone is respectful and cleans up after themselves. I go either early morning or late at night, because I work night shift, so there are very few people. I know there are a few people complaining of it being crowded, but you really have to avoid the 9 to 5 crowd. Theyre either in from 7-9 or 5-9. Other than that, you can have the whole place to yourself mostly.

Been to at least 10 different locations in NC, and this one is one of the top locations. Nice staff! However, they need to work on cleanliness.
Super close to home, and I like that it is open 24/7.

Just paid for membership here one week ago. Been there 3 times since joining. I'm thoroughly satisfied with all aspects of this location. equipment is well kept, staff alwaying willing to help and an overall outstanding atmosphere to be a part of. One of the best decisions I've made this year. Check it out.

Get my swole on M, W, and F. Equipment and locker rooms are always clean when I'm there and staff is super friendly and helpful. They have this room called cyclone that blasts you with air to cool you off after your workout too. Super fun and cool place to workout.

The club is really clean. The machines are fixed soon after needing repairs. The staff is really nice and helpful. The are very attentive when members bring issues up.

I usually work out in the later evening and every night when I come in Johnny is the best. The guy always seems to have something nice to say to every person who comes in. Great place to work out!

Ok place. Very busy. Squat racks are those smith machines that are slightly slanted. So that sucks. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

This place is huge! Even when it's "busy" I'm not having to wait to use a machine I want. Staff is friendly and down to earth. It's always clean too! Wish there was more classes but there's a fair amount to choose from.

It's a place to work out. Price is very reasonable. Lots of equipment. Their concept is goofy. They are always busy. Too many members don't know proper gym etiquette...but hey, free pizza and bagels.

It's a gym. Basic no frills planet fitness. You go in. You work out. Everybody leaves you alone. And its clean. Perfect.

Depends who is in charge. Weekends are tough. Men's locker room usually dirty with sand or dirt in the shower area. I go there about every morning b4 6am and find this. Once the day shift manager gets there after 6 than another one at 7 conditions improve. Even though this review may sound bad, there has been a HUGE improvement the last few months and the other bad stuff is corrected once day shift starts. Most of staff is very young and this may be their first job; someone needs to always supervise them. I saw some very unsanitary examples early yesterday am. Need night shift management.

This place is clean, staff is friendly, and has great equipment. However, they've been closed for 10 out of the last 30 days. I understand they're expanding but closing for a WEEK at a time is nuts. They closed for three more days about 3 weeks ago. Am I getting a refund for this month?
They give us access to the PF at Monkey Junction. It's almost 30 minutes away from me. Add the crazy traffic on college and it's 40 minutes.
Just kind of sucks, I was getting back into a routine and they tell us they'll be closed for a week about 3 days prior.

The staff are always pleasant and cheerful and seem genuinely warm and friendly. The atmosphere is laidback and the space sincerely feels like a *judgment free zone." I love seeing people from all walks of life in a gym. It's encouraging and inspiring.

Excellent gym, with complete fitness training circuit. Redundancy of equipment means that there is plenty of equipment even when it is crowded. Even though the gym is huge, and every inch is occupied with equipment for maximum fitness usage, there is enough room to work out without interrupting your training. The place is very clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Currently, it is the only 24 hour gym in Wilmington which makes it the only choice for dedicated gym addicts and serious fitness training.

Needs some cameras cause drug deals and breaking and entering in the parking lot no security the big guys go for the weights not the customers. The cops think there should be more cameras so they don't have too post up there much more crime to bat. Just let the city link to your camera system if you ever get one since you plan on expanding next door

It gets very busy here. Sometimes some of the machines are down, but in general there are plenty of treadmills, etc to work on even if you go right at 5:30-6:00 which is their busiest time after work. I like the environment and feel comfortable working out here. I go twice a week every week. I enjoy jogging on the treadmill and being able to watch some tv while doing so, or reading a book. It is very enjoyable and the staff is helpful and nice.
