I have been working out at Chisel since September 2019, and I look forward to attending the group classes and my private personal training sessions. Big gyms never worked for me, and I thought I would give Chisel a try. I love the small group class format, and the adrenaline flow class with the bungee slings is a fabulous way for me to get a high impact workout while taking the strain off on my bad knee (3 surgeries and a history that does not bear repeating here). I have worked with several (4 now) of the trainers, and each brings a great attitude and energy to their classes. Personal training sessions focus on my goals, and I have increased strength, muscle tone, and endurance as I have been working out regularly over the past few months. Chisel is kind of like Cheers...where everyone knows your name. It is really nice to have multiple trainers greet you, and to exchange more than curse pleasantries with your classmates (can we all groan together when it is time to do burpees? Yes! But then we can laugh about it later.).
Definitely give Chisel a chance if you want a personalized, intense workout. For a small studio, they have all the workout tools you need, and certainly a trainer to match your personality and help you meet your fitness goals.

I love this studio. I have been training with Stuart for 1 year and I also attend classes. I work too much and can't make myself stay fit on my own. Having a trainer has taken all the pressure off and I am stronger than ever. When I started I was out of shape and had knee pain and wrist pain. Stuart was very careful in building strength without causing injury. His sessions have a lot of variety and I never get bored. At this point I am confident doing lunges with weights and I have no pain. I am so happy with the results! I also like the people. Stuart, Pilar and everyone who attends class is a lot of fun. They make me laugh and class goes by quickly.

Chisel has the best small group classes. The training is super effective, I'm sore after every class. The Trainers are friendly and innovative, no two classes are ever the same. Because the groups are small they are able to cover your individual needs better than in a crowded studio. I've worked out at Chisel since 2 years. I've tried different gyms in Raleigh and I feel like I'm getting the best value at Chisel. Ty's (Mo/We) and Mario's (Th) classes are my favorit. I've recommended this gym to multiple friends and I'll continue doing so. Additional plus for me is that you don't have to sign up for a membership. I travel a lot for work and like the flexibility of the class-packs.

Chisel is a great studio. I've been working with Ty for a few months now and he's really helped me. Easy, convenient, clean, friendly, motivating. This place is great. Ty is great. If you're looking for a personal trainer or a private workout space then this is it I cannot recommend it enough.

Well equipped, pleasant facility. Pilar is an extraordinary personal trainer. Very sensitive to my strengths and weaknesses, and always encouraging me to improve. She is a tremendous asset in maintaining this senior citizen's quality of life

I love this studio, the space is beautiful and the personalized service is amazing. I really enjoy the classes. Because of the small classes the instructors are able to give you corrections and push you to your best. I always walk away from a class feeling accomplished and energized from the workout. The staff is amazing!

I'm a long term customer - have been training with Pilar for more than 10 years. She's an excellent trainer and great friend, and makes the experience all about you. Since she opened Chisel Studio all my personal training and group sessions have been there. It's so nice to find a place to work out where they maintain the equipment and keep everything clean. Which is almost impossible to find in downtown Raleigh. I've worked with most of the Chisel trainers 1 on 1 or taken their small group classes - they are also fun, motivational and share Pilar's passion and customer service philosophy. The Chisel Team is really good at figuring out where you are on a fitness level and customizing workouts that are just perfect!

The trainers and instructors here are amazing. I have taken classes with both Pilar and Marcy, and they will kick your butt, BUT you'll have fun having it kicked. I've also trained with Pilar for 13 years, and she is constantly researching and implementing new fitness routines to motivate and transform. I cannot say enough good things about her. I also love the space. It's clean, simple lines, inviting. Check it out. You won't regret it.

Chisel Studio is my favorite gym I've ever worked out at! Pilar has assembled a talented group of trainers, who motivate you every step of the way. Stuart has created individual training program that has incorporated both personal training and small group classes. At 44, I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to the Chisel Team.
