Cat Tilt Studio is awesome. Marshall Evans is the best. So talented, he is great at what he does

I really enjoyed my experience at studio. My appointment was for a Thursday but I confused myself and went there on a Wednesday. Even so, they were accommodating enough to arrange my haircut with Marshal. He asked me quite a few questions about my hair to better understand what style would suit my hair and to access if I would be able to take care of the style. Marshal is people person and is great at conversing and in making you feel comfortable even if you're more reserved like me. I do feel that the service was a tad bit on the pricier side but I like the haircut so it was worth it.(Also I am new to NC so I don't know the prices everywhere else here so I might be wrong). All in all it's not just a haircut but an experience that you get here and I really recommend it. You'll be experiencing a good service and meeting good and talented people here.

This is a beautiful shop! Marshall was very informative, knowledgeable, and up beat. I received a haircut with some highlights. He explained how and what I needed to do to maintain and care for my hair. I HIGHLY recommend Cat Tilt Studio, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

So, let me say up front that I had never been to a yoga class and went with some trepidation. Could I do it? Would I embarrass myself? Would it hurt the next day? Would others "judge" me?
The studio is very warm and welcoming. It is in an historic building, with solid wood floors and light walls, giving the feeling that you are embarking on a time-honored activity. There are two bathrooms for changing. I love that there is parking right in front (if you're lucky, otherwise just a short walk to additional parking).
Marc was very patient, attentive and a strong teacher and leader, giving you the feeling that he is credible and in control of the room. He explained the basics of what I guess is the "real" traditional yoga, the way it was meant to be. The things he showed us that he can do with his training and discipline are amazing. He had us go through some movements, and I started out pretty good but then they got harder and I found there was a lot I am not quite up to doing yet. I never felt judged and I walked out with an appreciation for the dedication, time, knowledge and training required to learn yoga. I will definitely recommend Marc and Cat Tilt Studio to anyone looking for an authentic (but not easy!) yoga experience.

I love this hidden gem of a yoga studio in Five Points. My daughter took a children's yoga class with Marc--he was incredibly patient with her. He is such a lovely person to chat with and he was incredibly calm while introducing a 4 year old to yoga. I hope the children's yoga class becomes regularly scheduled there. My daughter has been begging to go back and do yoga with Marc since we left. If you want a yoga studio that does traditional yoga with a master in his craft, then this is your place.

This is one of my favorite yoga studios in Raleigh. Marc is an excellent teacher. Even though Ashtanga can be challenging, Marc eases you into the practice with incredible expertise and compassion. Stop by this studio when you have a chance. You will not be disappointed.

I have been to several classes at Cat Tilt Studio, attended a workshop, and had one on one sessions with Marc. I absolutely love it! I also really like the app they use for online scheduling and payment. It makes it so easy to see when classes are available and paying couldn't be easier. I've been very pleased with the results I have seen since I have started attending more regularly. I hope to continue and I am so glad I started going.
