So, let me say up front that I had never been to a yoga class and went with some trepidation. Could I do it? Would I embarrass myself? Would it hurt the next day? Would others "judge" me?
The studio is very warm and welcoming. It is in an historic building, with solid wood floors and light walls, giving the feeling that you are embarking on a time-honored activity. There are two bathrooms for changing. I love that there is parking right in front (if you're lucky, otherwise just a short walk to additional parking).
Marc was very patient, attentive and a strong teacher and leader, giving you the feeling that he is credible and in control of the room. He explained the basics of what I guess is the "real" traditional yoga, the way it was meant to be. The things he showed us that he can do with his training and discipline are amazing. He had us go through some movements, and I started out pretty good but then they got harder and I found there was a lot I am not quite up to doing yet. I never felt judged and I walked out with an appreciation for the dedication, time, knowledge and training required to learn yoga. I will definitely recommend Marc and Cat Tilt Studio to anyone looking for an authentic (but not easy!) yoga experience.
