Joining this gym was the best fitness decision I have ever made. I spent years trying to get into weightlifting and yoyoed from one place to another before I joined Raleigh Crossfit. I have always been a little uncomfortable in gyms but this place is welcoming and the trainers are very helpful and encouraging. I have never been stronger, more confident or more in shape. This place is truly a community and I could not give it a higher recommendation.
As a long time member, you can't get better coaching or a cleaner facility.
Top notch all the way..always fun to meet new member and make them feel at home.
Did a drop in workout while traveling. The staff and entire gym were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Top notch facility, amazing coaching, and very clean! Would highly recommend to anyone!

I've been a RCF member since Jul 2017 and I'd recommend it to friends and family. The support I've received from all coaches has been outstanding. I felt welcomed since day 1 and the sense of community is present in the many events organized by the RCF staff team. Highlights: clean gym, welcoming staff, support to any-level athletes.
The best place to sweat in downtown Raleigh! Whether you are an elite athlete or a working mom of two that struggles to find time to get there... you are welcomed in the community that is led by a team of precision, supportive and knowledgeable coaches. The owners run a tight ship with a focus on form (safety) and results (while making it fun). My teenagers also love it here!

A clean, well-run facility filled with coaches and athletes who care. A huge main room to accommodate large classes, a separate olympic weightlifting facility with full kilo sets and bearing barbells, and every piece of equipment a strength and conditioning and CrossFit facility you could conceivably need. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt to respond.
I left some feedback for the owner stating I did not have a great experience and did not want to join. The box is geared more for elite athletes and those training to be competitive. Due to my lack of skills due to some limitations, it was questioned as to if I was telling the truth that I have been doing crossfit as long as I said I have been and as many days a week (guess they needed to see my before and after pics!). I was not the worst in the class by far and yet after my assessment with a pvc pipe (different than a weighted bar) was told that I needed to be in a remediation type of class: for an extra fee of course. When I explained my limitation and that I will never be completely proficient at these movements (but love it, makes me mentally feel awesome and I lost a ton of weight) was still told I pretty much could not be in the regular class. Whatever; there are tons of boxes in Raleigh. The owner chenelle called me back and was so defensive! I never said a bad thing about any of her staff (they were great). She talked about watching video footage and saying she doesn't discriminate... it got weird real fast. So I ended the call. When I mentioned this experience to another local box I'll be joining they said they have gotten SEVERAL people from Raleigh Crossfit claiming the same exact thing. I felt awful after leaving a place that should be the epicenter of empowerment. That's how most boxes are. This owner was so over the top and could not handle the slightest bit of critique!

Great coaching here! The facility is spacious with restrooms and showers. A little hard to see from the road depending on which way you are coming from. It is slightly tucked at the corner of Edenton and West st.

Too notch equipment and facilities with far more amiling faces at 6am than I've experienced before! Would definitely drop in again!

Raleigh CrossFit has the best coaches and athletes! I have noticed such positive changes in my body, I'm stronger and healthier. The workouts always help relieve daily stress, and I feel better overall. When I needed to modify/scale the workouts the coaches were always so helpful and knowledgeable. The community of athletes is so fun and I've met the best people who are always so friendly. I love this place and highly recommend it!!!

I cannot adequately articulate in this tiny box how awesome RCF is. The owners have spent an extraordinary amount of time creating a welcoming environment, staffed with knowledgeable coaches that genuinely care about you as a person as well as the inner athlete. The facility is top notch with everything necessary to achieve your goals. Stepping foot in the building was the single most important decision I've made in some time and I would encourage even the most timid person: give a single class a chance. The groups is welcoming and encouraging. You won't regret it!

Quick one day drop in at Raleigh CrossFit. Had a good time. An awesome local/community box atmosphere. Large facility with different sections for WODs, Teens and Barbell. Had fans to keep it cool in the summer which was nice. Small area w snacks, fuel for fire products. Plenty of bars and space to lift. Builtin lifting platform squares as well. Ben handled the noon class which is on your own in terms of warm up, however whenever I had a question he was there to provide answers and insight. Solid workout spot. Would definitely return. Beyond decent drop in pricing of $15. Go here.
