Got severely hurt on the poor kept equipment. Instructor was great however staff in studio could careless. I am considering a new stadium cycling alternative.
The instructors are great however as I am a data geeks, would love to be able to associate the lower numbers generated there with my actual power numbers on my bike.
Awesome staff who are friendly and efficient. Incredibly motivating- you are in for a great sweat.

High calorie burn workout with great instructors. Friendly and corteus stuff. Everything is clean always! Nice shower rooms. Lockers with combination locks. Bicycle shoes are free for the class with paid class pass.

This gym is fabulous! I've never really enjoyed a spin class until I came here. The atmosphere and everyone that works here is is extremely welcoming. They have thought through every detail to make you feel as comfortable as possible. All the instructors are motivating as well as challenging. I recommend these classes to beginners as well as avid bikers. Definitely a place to check out!
Clean, can always get into class, the competitive number board makes it fun :)
Some great folks work at Flywheel Raleigh, but unfortunately almost all other aspects of the business fall flat. Constantly dealing with website/app errors, double charged memberships, broken HVAC, consistent mic/torq board problems, minimal parking, and a "stadium" layout that is so overcrowded it makes you feel more like cattle than a human. Now, not all these problems are isolated to Flywheel, but unlike most gyms, they choose to charge a luxury price for a product that falls very, very short of its goal. Overall, you pay a varsity price for a very JV operation, and if Greg sees this, I hope he gets the act together, but I doubt it...
It's hard. It's fun. It's worth every penny!
So while in town, on vacation, visiting a friend we decided to take a spin class here. On that Friday it was Jay-Z and Kayne music for the 45 minute class. I was a little nervous about the class as I've become rather lazy and unactive as well as it had been a really long time since I did a spin class.
Upon arrival the staff greeted us and were very friendly. They have tablet stations set up to check in which was super easy. Below the stations is a cabinet with numbers that correlate to bike numbers. The cubby numbers contain your bike shoes if you selected your shoe size upon registering. What a genius idea. I've never taken a spin class with actual spin shoes. It was quite the experience especially unhooking from the bike. There was slight panic as I thought I'd just be stuck in the shoe on the bike forever (*dramatics*).
There were two employees providing assistance in setting up the bike and figuring out those darn shoes. The guy who helped me was super nice and easy on the eyes (in case anyone cares lol). So the bikes are very fancy and tech savvy. There is a screen that shows your stas (torq, rpm, etc) which I'd never seen before. You can also select, during registration, to have your stats appear on the board. I opted out of this to save myself from the embarrasement.
The instructor for the course was great and very energetic. The class was packed but I somehow seemed to connect with her which gave me the push I needed. The music was fantastic (all Kayne and Jay-Z) which made the class go by faster. I definitely left this class feeling out of shape, sweaty, but good.
The only thing I didn't like was the padded seat cushions they offered did not fit right so it kept coming off which made for a sore bum.
I wish there was a location in Austin because I'd go from time to time.
