I have been taking Judith's Yoga classes for years and would highly recommend her. I started out with Gentle Yoga, and was not in good shape, I'd had back issues. However, even in the beginning, I felt better at the end of class. Over time, I found I could do the poses and hold the moves longer, that I felt better, lost weight, and my body looked even better. I moved to a "More Stretch" class which is designed for more serious Yogis, but still suitable for beginners, as Judith often offers "gentle" variations, so you can make the class suite you.

If I can do it, you can do it! I feel as if I have been transformed! Besides the physical benefits, I found that my spirit and mind were calmer, and more serene. The North Raleigh Location at Temple Beth Or just up from Crabtree on Creedmoor Road is very convenient and spacious. Namaste!

I have been so happy to have found Judith Valerie's yoga classes! Some of my favorite parts include the breadth of her yoga background and the nurturing way she brings the different traditions together, the way she occasionally includes sound in her classes, and the clear and inclusive language she uses whenever larger philosophical ideas are shared. All around very satisfying.

My career and lifestyle put stresses on my body. As a mom of young children and a practicing dentist, I am often dealing with poor postures and neck strain. My class with Judith is so rejuvenating! It opens me up, physically, mentally and emotionally. It is an hour and a half that is simply time for me to take care of myself. Judith is delightful! She combines humor into her class, she encourages her students and is always available to assist each one of us. With her lovely English accent, it truly is like taking yoga with Mary Poppins!

Judith has very dedicated new and long-time students. Some long-time students have been with her for more than a decade. She teaches class so you have options to choose from depending on how your body works. My favorite Judith quote: "This is a practice, not a performance". Her Kripalu yoga training integrating body, mind, and spirit make her the best teacher I've ever taken classes from. I am always completely rejuvenated after each class. Everyone benefits from taking yoga classes with Judith Valerie!

I started classes with Judith over a year ago. I had hoped to increase my flexiblity and strength. What I hadn't counted on was the new sense of inner peace that yoga helped create!
