Gym itself not bad...... They put money into putting advertising tv's up yet not $15 into a toilet seat in the males restroom which is falling off, restrooms also can make the whole gym smell

I'm a member at the true fit gym in hope mills love the company. This location at bragg is sub-standard due to lack of equipment and undermanning. A gentleman came in earlier as I was lifting and asked the front desk to turn on the sauna he responded "we just turned it on it may take awhile" he leaves about 10 minutes later after the conversation (frustrated and left). I went in about 50 minutes later and it was not hot at all (imagine that). I called the front desk it doesnt take 50 minutes to hear a 5x5 room come on guys!!!

The main reason for giving this place 5 stars is because of the staff..The group exercise classes are very motivating..Anita who teaches body pump is phenomenal!! I came here on pass because I wasn't sure if I was going to to stay in Fayetteville or move to Raleigh..In the meanwhile I got a pass..Then my pass expired..I tried to workout.. Kenny told me I would have to get a membership if I plan on continuing working out which is perfectly logical..He let me workout one More Time... I left and moved to Raleigh but moved back after the job fell through.. My first thought was I gotta join trufit!! Thanks Guys!!

TruFIT Gym is an amazing place to be a member! Group exercise classes, kids care and tanning are all included in my membership. My personal trainer has also helped keep me accountable and helped me get closer and closer to reaching my health and wellness goals. The equipment is all updated and they are frequently adding new machines and updating the facility.

Do not sign a contract with this gym. If you come down on orders unexpectedly, you are charged a cancelation fee. They also can't assist with membership issues in house and you must contact a billing service. Not worth the monthly fee and hassle.

Oh where to start? I visited Golds Gym or TruFit as it is called now three years ago. After the tour, my family and I decided to give it a shot. We sat down with one of the associates as she read through what she promised wasn't a contract and was only a quote that would bind them to a certain price for a set time. We signed on the dotted line as it turned out and proceeded to utilize the facility for the next year. The gym became more and more crowded and less and less useful so we decided to call it quits. It was at this time we learned we had a three year contract that not only bound the company to a price it bound us. Miraculously, no one knew anything from that point on. Some phantom company called Paramount existed out in the either that was charged with stealing the remaining $1700 from me over the next two years. Long story short I informed everyone involved in the scam that I wanted out the moment the contract was fulfilled. I was told I was bound until July 2018. I came down on orders to move April 2018. When I called to present my orders, with shock in their voices at the apparent injustice of me paying for something I couldn't use for years, I was told I had been paying month to month for some time now. True to form, I will be charged for one more month of useless membership before this company states they will let me go.

Never give Tru Fit or Golds Gym a dime. There are far better gyms out there who are focused on maintaining their facilities and fostering a climate of healthy living without stacking their books with endless contractually bound persons.

The child care here is awesome!!!! I they even have days where you can drop your kid off and shop

Joined when it was Golds then they changed their name. The main reason why I joined was to be able to work oit at other locations. Read the fine print!! Wasn't told of an equipment maintenance fee they charge every 6 months (which they are obviously pocketing) and that they would still charge your account even after your contract ended unless you email them 30 days prior.

Gold's.. now "TruFIT" is another one in the same of garbage chain gyms. I am absolutely relieved that there are other options within the immediate vicinity (looking at you, Y). This gym sold me a membership a year ago adamant that I was paying for everything. I ASKED because I was paying in full. Their maintenance fee was never brought up. Not once during signing. It wasn't until the fee was due and threatening to go to collections that I was made aware of them. No one wants to be up-front or honest until AFTER you've signed the contract. Here we are 6 months later and I'm being informed that it's in fact bi-annual. Go here if you're looking for a small space, mediocre equipment, fighting for 25# and 45# plates, terrible hours, and employees who are so corporate, it hurts. I will be referring all of my friends to new gyms.

Location is good, and the equipment is great but the hours suck especially on the weekends.

December 9, 2017 19:33

Love the gym, but the hours are awful, not friendly to people who work odd hours or get off much later in the day. Closes at 6pm on a Saturday! Sad to say I'll have to take my business to a 24 hr gym. Or at least one that stays open past 9pm.

Love working out here but wish I had a little more help with using the equipment that I'm unfamiliar with.

I love golds gym! It is awesome to work off post and see real people and to be around civilians. Not military guys all day. I bring all my friends here, the price isn't bad; also forced you to go because you are paying. Just ask for Jill! She is one of the fitness consultant, super nice girl and can hook you up with the ins and outs of the gym. All the girls at the front are super nice and are very welcoming. Kristal is my favorite (sorry girls, Emily, love ya too) she is the best. Always smiling and friendly. Melanie is the only personal trainer I know here but, she has a love for fitness and to see progress in her clients and will help you get started and meet your goals!

I switched over to Gold's after spending the last few years at a now defunct women's gym. I have to admit to being a little nervous about starting up in a gym that a few people had mentioned feeling like had a 'macho' environment, but I was sold on the amazing child care. Not only is the childcare phenomenal-- best I've ever seen in a gym with cleanliness and wonderful staff-- but the facilities and trainers are great. I should never have been concerned because it has always felt like a great place to work out. I've been a member for a year now and would highly recommend it.

The worst golds gym I've experienced. They do not deserve a star at all. The employees lie to you when sign up for your membership and once you find out they do not want to let you out of your contract membership with them I told them that Im gonna be here just few months and don't want a contract they told me is not a contract and you can cancel it anytime but now they don't let me. They lied about membership Do not waste your time with this golds gym in Fayetteville, NC. It's not owned by the corporation so if you call the number online they direct you to the rude people you've already dealt with.
