Visiting here in Fayetteville. The females at the desk were not helpful, friendly or accommodating. This gym is set up totally different as the one I actually belong to. I was really surprised, because at my "home " PF, everyone is so nice.

I like how they have locations all around the US. My issues with Planet Fitness, that makes me think they deserve 3-stars is: 1. The customer service wasn't very knowledgeable. 2. If you are coming from another one of their locations, and you happen to want to cancel your membership...they ask you to call your "home gym" for information they already have (all the home gym tells you, is the barcode number on your membership card - which you already have to have on you in order to enter the gym...), so you can transfer your home gym to their home gym/then you can cancel your membership from there. Then they need a reason why you are cancelling, like it matters. 3. They have an annoying bell when you drop weights/it goes off a lot - yet I haven't seen the staff warn the people once, even after they kept doing it = what's the point of having a bell. I hope this all helps, and this is of course my experience/opinion.

Update: two weeks later all of the same exact equipment is not fixed, counted over 15machines/cardio equipment broken. Members deserve their annual fee refunded. I do not encourage anyone to join this gym. I am going to start telling people that are getting a tour of the facility not to join and to deliberately pay attention to all of the broken machinery.
Staff is friendly but probably needs new management. Gym is falling apart, Multiple machines down, takes weeks and sometimes months to fix anything. Sinks in bathroom currently clogged. Ceiling is dripping water above stair climber. We pay our monthly membership and annual fees but management doesn't seem to ensure equipment gets fixed.

This is the cleanest Planet Fitness I have ever been to.The Staff was friendly.They had all modern equipment and hydro massage.Super clean locker rooms.

I have to cancel my membership dues to financial strain brought on by Hurricane florence. I told them I can't do anything right now and this was the soonest I could get in since they had already refused to cancel my membership last month. Now they are still going to take the annual fee even though this is really their fault. Nice money making scheme they got going here. I was going to renew my membership when things were taken care of and I could handle it again but not now. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to keep badgering them to cancel my membership when my apartment flooded. Just ridiculous.

Not bad. Great tanning beds. They keep the TVs working. Machines are never down for long when broken. Staff is very friendly. Used to br a good place to come.
That said ... it was excellent the first year when I was still paying daily rates and for the first few months of my Black Card membership. However, lately it's difficult to get a machine or bench. The real muscle heads have moved in and they'll put their towel, keys, water bottle, etc. on a piece of equipment and then go work on something else while people are waiting to use the bench or whatever. Some of these guys will put their stuff on TWO benches or machines at once, or they'll sit on a machine for 20 minutes to watch TV and do the occasional set. Or you'll find these guys clogging up the 30 minute circuit area, using the machines for multiple sets. The staff seems to be unwilling or unable to address it.
Before this nonsense started though .... it was an excellent place. Shame really.
Edit ... it's now so crowded with the steroid heads it's impossible to get a bench or rack most times. And they've now been closed four or five days when everything else has begun opening up since Sunday post Florence. Are they just closing permanently with no warning? This is what PF did years ago in Greensboro. This location is really starting to suck.

Crowded no matter what time I go. Cancelling my membership. Fayetteville needs another Planet Fitness. Bathrooms could be cleaner and massage chairs suck

Clean comprehensive gym for a reasonable price with no contract. Love the extra perks of a black card. The trainers are great too and help out getting you more acquainted with the equipment so you don't get hurt. Very nice and not intimidating at all.

People here are very friendly. And it is a great place to go and workout. You feel safe, like no body is going to judge you for where you are in your level of fitness.

It's always crowded. You can't work out with the free weights because there's not enough room or some of the muscle bound show offs are there for about an hour and when you try to get weights, they have them all sitting next to them claiming they are using them but you can only use one set at a time. SMH.......They really need to build another one so people can spread out more. Some of the staff is friendly and others seem like they don't care. I signed up for a one on one trainer for my abs. When I showed up for my class the trainer seemed like they were not interested since I was not a girl. The trained showed me what to do and left. I thought a trainer was suppose to be with you for the 30 mins that you signed up. So I haven't signed up for any more training courses and I barely come there now simply because there's no room to work out or all the equipment is being used.

I was in town for the week and went to this location every morning. On the last day of my visit to the city I was told that my membership has been inactive since February. I asked how was I able to sign in every morning and also able to sign in every location between my home town, Killeen Texas, and north Carolina. She shrugs her shoulders and tells me to visit my home PF and get it resolved as she was not able to assist. I asked was there any other way to bring up my account and was told no and that I need to leave the location. I called customer service and was advised that my account is active and also verified my keycard was correct. Very unhappy with this level of laziness from this location

I really do love Planet Fitness however there is one issue that I have. Whenever there is a member that is paying for the black platinum card for $21.99 per month this member should be eligible to have one other guest or person to put under that membership as well, which that individual should be able to share the same amenities as the card holder.

I love the staff here. They have all been super nice. Great price for a membership...tanning, hydrobeds and gym for $20 a month.

Staff is more than accommodating and very down to earth. Gym is crowded often but if you go during the early morning hours you're solid if you hate a crowd. And try the hydromassage!

Not fond of this gym. It is always busy, the equipment is sub par and there is no bench press only Smith machines. The only thing I liked about this gym is the tanning, massage machines and total body machine

The facility was well-maintained, and they had quite a lot of equipment. As with any Planet Fitness, they don't have a lot of the heavy lifting equipment such as a squat rack or bench press. It's still great for general fitness though.

Nice clean place. Friendly people. But they over charged me and when i went to cancel they said i still owed $10 more dollars. Had already paid $12 and hadn't been with them 2 weeks.

They lied to me. I joined the club to get fit. They also told me that if I wanted to cancel my membership it would be free. But they lied to me. I ended up paying over 100 plus dollars to cancel my membership. Be careful they will charge you to cancel your membership.

Pretty and clean location...
Very small compared to the ones in used to in Va... especially considering its the only one in all of Fayetteville. the amount of machines is small..
And very disappointed that there weren't any scales... i thought all gyms had those....

Do not join this club. They cost more in the long run than other clubs. They do not give notifications on when they will charge your account the annual fee. And when you cancel they won't refund that annual fee even if your not going to have that membership that year.

Company told me numerous times to come in and cancel by March 10th and I would not be paying annual fees or monthly fees any longer. Guess who was just charged both? I asked for them to refund and they can't do that. I asked for a corporate number and they say they don't have that either. Asked for a manager and they aren't there. This is ridiculous how y'all do people.

The whole managing staff (except kianna) is so unprofessional that I could claw my eyes out..
The GM (Amanda) gets angry fast and doesn't handle situations with customers well and doesn't consider to have conversations more so focused on handling a problem.
24/7 attitude with GM and doesn't fix any equipment .
it's no one to tell these issues about both GM and assistant manager (Nichole) to because corporate obviously are buddy buddy.
they're breath is terrible and when they're arguing with the customer it's no point of talking because your point wont be listened to, sympathized with, no resolved.

I just really enjoy this place. I'm a home maker, and it can get quite boring sometimes and this is a good place to see and be around people . This place is one of the highlights of my day. Thanks a bunch for keeping it nice and clean. Also the workers are very friendly.

scammers, hidden fees and can't put the account on hold or freeze for deployments or overseas extended travel even though I was assured you could when I had sighed up. Told two different things, not worth it going to this gym, plus its WAY too crowded and dirty.

Staff is unprofessional. I showed up for a fitness class and the personal trainer basically ignored me and paid more attention to the other client who had obviously participated in this class before and knew how to do the exercises and use the equipment. Where as I was new and required more assistance, which he denied even after me asking him. Signed up for another class today, showed up and waited but he never showed. I asked the front desk and they told me he wasn't in. He had clearly told me the day before he was going to be. He didn't even send me an email to let me know he cancelled. They wasted my time. I am very unhappy with the service here.

24/7 Hours. No judgment zone is a great motto. Even during busy hours there is never a shortage of equipment to work on, EXCEPT free weight area is always crowded. Bathrooms & showers are clean. Price is reasonable. Black card offers half-price drinks, massage chairs, massage beds, & tanning available.

I enjoy working out and go here at least 5 times a week. The problem is there is NEVER any hot water! I was told it is because the water company is adjusting the water pressure which is BS. This has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the water temperature. I have visited other locations while traveling and this is the only location that I have experienced this issue. This is ridiculous especially since we are paying our membership fees! Quit being cheap and invest in a bigger commercial water heater.
