Planet Fitness as a whole will take your money even after you have cancelled your membership so please be careful. I cancelled last month and the money was still taken out this month. When I do go back to the gym it will not be with PLANET FITNESS. Anytime Fitness has great sales and better facilities may be a great idea to look into them I know I am.

This is by far one of the best PF locations in Charlotte. It's always clean, well staffed, friendly, it smells good. It can get pretty busy sometimes but you're hardly ever waiting too long to use the equipment.

Yes i must say that Planet Fitness is one of the best places to go and build your body and see results in no time. I love the atmosphere there, no one to judge u or make u feel self conscious about your self. Only 10$ a month,, u cant beat that!! ,So looking foward to my next workout.

I love the flexibility to work out at whatever time, 3am or 3pm. Well equipped,clean facilities and friendly helpful staff. I mostly go during the late night/early am and I always feel safe and comfortable.

I've been away for this particular Planet Fitness for about a year. Coming back I see that they have several new machines and more massage chairs. Although list location is still really small it still has a lot what you need to get the job done.

Love this gym, the bathroom here are always clean and the staff are always frequently cleaning and saying hello. The equipment is all brand new and the place is never to crowded.

This is by far the dirtiest Planet Fitness I have ever been to. The ladies locker room looks like it has not been cleaned in weeks if not months! I would recommend the drive to the Monroe location just down the road....it is much better!!!

Poor Customer Service from The Manager Bridget. Attitude and then apologized because she was forced to apologize by her Manager. As a black card member, I can use the Massage chairs and Massage bed. When I asked to use it another time, she said I can only use it once a day and that is so not true. I called corporate and confirmed, I told her I called corporate and was still awful. Had a power trip. I got in touch with her Manager and then she apologized after speaking with him but I can tell you the way she spoke and treated me was extremely unprofessional and she should not be employed here or serving the public.

I mainly go at night so it's never really crowded or anything, machines are normally open and there is normally enough room in the gym to have your own personal workout space.

Rash after use of tanning bed. Even after cleaning it :(. It's an atypical PF, with all the glorious people strutting in from all sorts of walks of life. Come get your sweat on, and weight off. Just beware of fungal infections, rashes, Cold virus, and any other bug that plagues establishments like this one where it's up to you to clean the place, not the staff.

It's good for how much it costs. My only complaint is the lack of free weights. So if lifting is your goal this may not be the best place. It does have a lot of weight machines but I imagine most people serious about lifting want free weights.

Never really crowded, which I love. Mostly older people frequent this one. I like to use the stair climber and machines for strength training. Restroom is clean and locker room is average size.

Nice gym, nice location. My only complaint is there are 2 girls who spend a lot of time in the gym just sitting on one of the mats in a corner, listening to music/charging their phone/laughing being loud and obnoxious and no one has done anything about it. I go to the gym 3 times a week and they are always there. I think that is unacceptable.

I just moved to the area and called to see how to transfer. The lady already seemed annoyed to have to answer my questions. I am also 6 months pregnant so I haven't been able to use the gym anyways and I asked if I cancel how much it will cost for me to join back later and she gave me the current rates and said "Why are you cancelling? If it's medical we can freeze it." I explained that I'm pregnant and I have no use for it right now. With a real smart tone she said "Uhm well you do understand that you can still exercise during pregnancy correct?" as if I was stupid. And then said they wouldn't freeze it for that unless my doctor had restricted all physical excersize. I explained that actually my doctor doesn't want me doing anything more than walking and I'm not paying 20 a month just to walk on a treadmill when I can walk around my apartment. Nice to know she's qualified to give medical advice regarding what I can and can't do during pregnancy because NO I cannot exercise during pregnancy. Needless to say as soon as I got off the phone with her I called my home club to cancel my membership altogether. I don't want to transfer somewhere that the staff is annoyed to answer any questions, rude, and treats me as if I am uneducated about my own body during pregnancy.
Also I was told by the lady that all I had to do was call my home club to cancel and upon calling them I was told I would have to come in or write a letter. So not only was I given incorrect medical advice but information regarding how to handle my account as well. I will be putting the letter in the mail this afternoon.
