Affordable and spacious. Because it has two floors, it doesn't feel crammed. I can get a lot done without ever having to wait for a machine, and people seem to mind their own business. Alex was really warm and open to us when we first came in for a tour. I didn't think a gym for this price could be so accommodating!

Cheap price for what you get. Besides I'm just there to workout not there to make a fashion statement or use it for a pickup.

This really is a great location for Planet Fitness. At this place you will find some characters working at the front counter. You really will have some great conversations with these workers if you come here often. This is a great gym that is on the more affordable end of things.

A friend of mine was interested in purchasing a membership here at Planet Fitness, so i offered to come up here with her and look over the contract with her. Arriving first, i spoke with the assistant manager; her name is Neiby. A very nice, friendly, outgoing and personable young lady. This place is fantastic. If you're a black card member, the spa and tanning area is included in your monthly membership. There are sanitation stations throughout, for cleaning the machines, both pre and post-workout. The bathrooms are large and well-maintained. I would highly recommend this particular Planet Fitness. And yes, my friend purchased a membership. Well worth the cost. The huge clock on the lower level is one hour behind and has been for at least 3 months .
The stair stepping machines downstairs make a loud creaking noise.
Otherwise, clean and the staff is SUPER friendly and helpful.
P.s. STOP telling your clients to "stop by the front desk and complain to management" . WE ARE COMPLAINING ON THIS PLATFORM. FIX IT!!!!

It's ok, but they need another fly machine and the Wi-Fi is hit or miss. I'm an individual with a regular house, my Wi-Fi is solid. What's the deal planet fitness? Do you need some help addressing something as simple as Wi-Fi service? Front desk shrugged and said sorry, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't tough luck buddy. Pretty shoddy service. Up your game.

This gym is affordable and has great weight-training circuits and a bounty of cardio machines. They also offer classes and personal trainers. It's never to crowded when I go and I rarely have to wait for a machine. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I love going to planet fitness, regardless where the location. I come to this location from time to time, but today, I feel uncomfortable working out around people who barely used the equipment and play on the phone and claiming they are using the equipment. I apologized politely and walk away and move to the next equipment, but her comment"first time for everything". I am like wow, pure ignorance. Later on, I hear her clapping her hands and telling another person to move so she can use the equipment. Really, raising your voice and clapping your hand, talking to the man like a child. I know PF is a place not to judge, but her behavior made me. Besides her behavior, she is out of shape and borderline fat. As I move on to do other workout, she's just sitting around wasting time, not working out and playing on the phone. I enjoy working out and people are respectful of space, but it is just that one individual I don't feel comfortable with. I know people seen how she behave and everyone clear her way because she was giving off negative vibes. Other than that, I enjoy working out there.

Absolutely love Planet Fitness it is a great facility where you feel comfortable at all times it's very clean and organized and everybody is so happy and welcoming when you come in

During my early morning workouts for the past 2 days no one has been at the front desk. I wish there was a way to check myself into the spa area after my workouts. This was 5:36am and Crystal came to the front at 5:46am. Another gentleman had came to sign up but he left after waiting unattended after 5 minutes.
Other than that the equipment and workout area is great.

Good gym, but really needs some signs telling people not to sit on equipment for five minutes at a time between sets.

It's decent. Go early in the morning or early afternoon. Anytime after 5 it's a spot for people to get together, hang out and be on their phones

I went to the one on Central Ave. first, facility was fine. Parking lot was extremely dark. Left this location and went to the one on University Blvd, much better. Employees seemed to be friendlier, parking lot was well lit.

Great, clean, free personal training. I just hate how they don't keep paper towels stocked enough to be able to wash down machines/equipment before/afterbusing them.

For those of us just getting into fitness and working out on a regular basis, this is a really great location. I used to attend the University location, but after coming here, I will never go back. The tanning beds at this location are also much cleaner and newer beds. For a basic gym, I love this place.

Zero barbells in the whole place. It's not really a gym; it's more of an anti-gym. Cool for beginners I suppose but not intermediate/advanced lifters. The only things that are worth going are the massage chair and aqua massage bed.

First: the location can be easy to miss the first time going. Look for the tall purple sign hidden in the trees a bit.
Ive been going here three days a week for a month now and here is what I've found.
Cons:
The machine bench press machines are always full.
They only have one dumbbell machine so it's hard to get a turn.
The spray bottles and paper towels could be more conveniently placed or they could add a few upstairs.
The women's locker room restroom area always smells bad and half the stalls tend to be gross. This is a constant thing that I've heard other women complain out loud about in the locker room.
Pros:
Really good pricing.
The water massage beds are fantastic.
Tons of cardio equipment.
Multiple options for weight training machines including assisted bench press machines in case you don't want a spotter.
I can deal with waiting for the two machines I mentioned before and would give it five stars in spite of that but the bathrooms are pretty gross so until that changes I'm giving this location three stars.

Definitely not a good location to go to unless it's your only option. It's never clean, but then again, I wouldn't necessarily say that the area around this location is clean. The employees don't seem to care or want to help most of the time. At around midnight, I guess it's a new policy to allow groups of three or more to enter without IDs. The guy seemed annoyed when I asked if he needed to check mine. Absolutely no good work ethic from the employees here.

Great up keep by staff. Clean. Pretty cool and quiet people. I was charged $2.00 for a bottle of water and informed it was due to the kind of membership. This policy is against healthy hydration. Tee shirts and limitations of equipment I can understand. It's ridiculous. The planet fitness I transferred from don't charge for water based on type of membership. I carry my own. I just forgot it oneday. And I couldn't believe such a practice.
