I got an induction massage yesterday, and when I arrived the door was locked and no one was there. The masseuse was 10 mins late and texted me only 5 mins before my appt started. My massage was also cut short 10 mins- starting at 12:50 (instead of 12:30) and ending at 2:10. The massage itself was nice, but not worth the price at all. I received a prenatal massage 2 years ago at their previous location and loved it. Sad- would not recommend.

This is far and away my favorite prenatal and postpartum massage studio. I have had other massage around the city, and no one compares. With my first, the induction massage worked within a couple of hours. With my second, it brought much needed relief to pelvic pain. All therapists are knowledgeable of the female anatomy and know how to help the body relax without unneeded pressure or pain. They provided valuable insight to make both labors more manageable. They are courteous, clean, and spend the WHOLE time on massage.

Excellent Experience! I'm usually skeptical, havent had too many good experiences with massage places. I felt comfortable right away and was very satisfied with the end result!

If I had wanted a place with prenatal yoga taught by very knowledgeable people for a reasonable price, my needs would have been met.

If I had wanted a place to safely receive prenatal massage for a reasonable price, which turned out to be the only semi-lasting solution for my very swollen ankles once I hit 33 weeks (and I wouldn't knock the labor induction massages either), my needs would have been met.

Here's the real reason I credit Bellies and Babies for keeping me sane and healthy from weeks 15-40 of my pregnancy though-- everyone who works there treats the clients like close friends. After 3 or 4 regular classes/sessions, you become part of a highly supportive (and seriously knowledgeable) community that takes care of you. You can walk into class, announce a pregnancy symptom, and the teacher will actively help fix it. You can walk up to any number of the staff, (especially Sara,) ask a question related to pregnancy/labor/etc. (not limited to yoga or massage) and they will answer it with something useful (and nonjudgmental). Want to vent? There's an entire room full of people in your boat, and the staff knows how to help navigate these conversations so everyone feels good about them. You will make friends, find support, and likely learn far more than what you're paying for. I genuinely love this place and the people who work so hard to make it so special.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bellies and Babies! I had a prenatal massage today with Eman and it may have been one of the best massages I've ever had! Everyone there was incredibly kind and welcoming, and all of the services they offer are ultimately about supporting you throughout the journey of motherhood and helping you find your tribe of women to support you. I am looking forward to coming back and exploring all they have to offer!

My baby's projected due date was January 28th, 2017. Being a first time mom, I was very anxious to meet my baby sooner than later so after 36 weeks, I started a regiment of red raspberry leaf tea, essential oils and pre-natal/induction massages. I got my last induction massage on January 14th and delivered my baby on January 18th. I don't know if his early arrival was due to my interventions and the induction massages, but it sure did help me to relax and enjoy the last couple weeks of my pregnancy. :-)

Bellies has been a godsend during both of my pregnancies! I can't imagine going through these times without the community and support of these ladies! From the massages, guidance to acupuncture specialists, yoga and all things birth preparation - Bellies and Babies is for sure my go-to spot! Love the vibe of the office when you walk in and the way you feel right at home!

Not a fan of the fertility massage. I have received several and this was the worse. I have received one from another place in Charlotte as well as a few other states. The lady who done mine, she didn't go into details at all as to why I am suffering from infertility. Just a brief hello and explained how it worked and that was it. I didn't feel the massage there come close to comparing to the others and feeling like I really benefited from it. Their prices are also a lot higher vs other places I have gone. I don't mind paying the higher price if the massage is great but sadly, the massage didn't feel like I benefited from it.

I am bad about writing reviews. I just never get around to it, but this one is a must share. To make a long story short I have a severe muscle imbalance in my thoracic spine caused by whiplash. Since 2002, I have been working with various physical therapist, chiropractors, massage therapists, neurologists and several other types of doctors along the east coast hoping to find relief from chronic pain. Out of all the practitioners that I have seen (including the doctors), Angie is the ONLY person that has really helped me. She has an incredible instinct in finding the muscle(s) that precipitate relief, and with her intelligence, skill and knowledge she has made me so much better than I had hoped. While not 100%, I now know what it takes to keep my pain at bay. I can carry my son, carry groceries, exercise etc. All of which I was not able to do before I saw Angie. She has given back to me quality of life that others said I would just have to do without. This is huge to me as it is coming from someone who has always been very physically active. I know this sounds a little over the top, but after working with Angie I can not recommend anyone else but her or a staff member that is under her supervision. The girl is simply gifted

Bellies and babies was an awesome little gem to find in Charlotte during the middle of my pregnancy. The prenatal yoga classes have been fantastic. They have been extremely relaxing and have allowed me to maintain strength and flexibility in a safe environment. Bellies and Babies has a wealth of information and resources about natural pregnancy and childbirth.
