Hands down my favorite studio to practice yoga. The staff and teachers are super friendly and supportive. It felt like home immediately and I am grateful for the amazing community of teachers and students that practice there.

Truly the warmest and kindest studio! From the front desk, to the teachers and students there is nothing but lifting one another up. It is truly an experience. The next level quality of every single class is just the icing on the cake.

Hands-down the best studio in town. Amazing class offerings, and every instructor is motivating and knowledgeable. The vibe of the studio is tremendous...inclusive, relaxed, welcoming and super fun. You look forward to going back each time you leave. Highly Recommend!

VIBE5 is the bomb. I'm no yogi by any means, but the vibe in here is open and accepting of novices like me and there's always crazy yogis floating on their big toe too. Everyone who works there is awesome too. Best yoga studio in town; skip the better known studios and have a transcending experience here.

VIBE5 is the best! They have the most incredible teachers (truly - the most inspiring and influential in Charlotte) and a wide variety of yoga offerings. Many studios in town are limited to Hot Power, but VIBE5 caters to ALL. They have plenty of Hot Power classes if that's your jam, as well as non-heated power, Rocket Yoga, beginners, H3 (hot hip-hop flow - check it out) and yoga fusion with weights. It's a clean, beautiful, modern space located in the heart of SouthPark with an incredible amount of natural light. The studio is owned by two women who feel strongly about creating a safe, loving environment for practitioners of all levels, ages and bodies. All are truly welcome and you feel this the moment you walk in the door.

I have been practicing asana for four years now and I tried four different teachers before I walked out of class and asked for a refund. Andy Chen was the best teacher I had encountered there, but he has left.

The other instructors I tried were Cara McCarthy, Kristi Ray, and perhaps Jaime Jones (I forget the fourth). This studio does not speak to yogic philosophy whatsoever. I was hit by a drunk driver several months ago and in my experience it is best to ask at the beginning of class if anyone in the room has any injuries. In Kristi Ray's class (the one I walked out of) she started the class with 12 chaturanga pushups. That's not a freaking warm up. A traditional warm up consists of sun salutations and a little bit of spinal movement (table>cat/cow>spinal balance>Down dog) to warm up the spine and get some grounded energy flowing. Yes--building internal heat (tapas) is a goal of yoga but starting class with twelve pushups is a major turn off; and made me feel like I am at a gym class.

I have so many negative things to say about my experiences at this yoga studio that I could spend over an hour writing such a review but I do not feel the need to totally blast this place. It's no surprise as to why I have never seen more than five other yogi's in the classroom. Another pet peeve of mine? I can shorten my down dog if I want to. Don't tell me to lengthen my down dog my first time in your class. Especially if you haven't asked if I have an injury because that was the entire reason my down dog stance was shorter than normal.

When I came to the front desk to ask for a refund for that class the woman there offered a credit to my account in hopes of getting me to return, which was nice, but not what I was looking for. Before class she asked me what I liked about yoga and I said that for me it is a spiritual journey and not a physical one. I will not be returning to this studio EVER. Especially when there is no collective intention being set by beginning and ending class with Aum.

This studio is beautiful. The instructors are very nice and helpful!
I went today for the first time after moving in the area, and did the 6 am power hour class. It was quite warm in the room but it really helped me get a good stretch and loosen my muscles. The instructor was fun and nice. She would walk around and make sure people were doing the poses correctly. I can't wait to go back and do another class! Great way to start the day!

So happy I found this place. I had never been into yoga because I hadn't found a great place like this and honestly..I was of the impression yoga was only for the flexible type and well, didn't burn that many calories. UM, WAS I WRONG. I've been going for 8 months now almost daily and it has changed me a ton both physically and mentally. I don't typically write reviews but after class I always think about how wonderful the instructors are here and I wanted to pay them some public respect for their amazing work! I have yet to have one teacher that isn't top notch at this place. I began as a true beginner and found that although I have a lifetime ahead of me to improve, it's all about the fun journey. The classes are for all levels and you can adapt to make it extremely challenging or less so. I love dropping in over lunch for the $7 no commitment Karma Classes so my teachers have mostly been Dia, Jana, Ann & Stacey...all of whom I think are just truly awesome. For an extra push I sometimes take an evening heated power class, usually Thursdays with Celeste because she is SO GOOD...she will kill you kindly..you will leave there feeling restored in a way bootcamp or the gym just can't ...yet it will have worked every muscle in your body. The front desk staff is also so helpful and awesome, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a big, positive change in their workout routine.
