No safe place. The hotel doesn't provide security. It is lot of car window breaking there. The hotel doesn't cover your damages.

Had quick sales meeting here, afternoon of day one and morning of day two. Staff was wonderful catering to our every need. There were just under 30 of us, with about 20 staying at the Courtyard and the rest commuting. I was a commuter, so can't review the overnight accommodations. Had meals catered by the Courtyard and they were fine. Buffet style.

It was a great stay that was covered by my airline due to a cancellation. The rooms are medium sized and of nice quality. The staff were all friendly and the food was great.

Fun and accommodating night manager, screaming tired kids never fun! I think his name was Dominick, he got us going out of the lobby and to our rooms. Great bistro! Loved the food. Definitely will recommend!

I cannot overstate how awesome this location has treated us. We are here because we evacuated from myrtle beach during the hurricane. First off this location is not pet friendly but because of the storm they allowed us to bring both our dogs and a bird for no extra charge. They even put doggie bags on our door handle for us. When we arrived there was a sweet note saying we are sorry you had to evacuate please make this your temporary home. They had water bottles and goodies bags for people who were evacuating. They have told us since we are uncertain when we need to stay til that all fees that would normally be associated with canceling reservation or checking out early or late will be waived. Unbelievably gracious. I cannot reccomend this location enough. Staff are all amazingly friendly. They have made a life long customer in me with the impression they have left.

Great staff, clean, and very nice hotel. I have stayed here many times. I like the patios which I think almost every room has. Recently, I evacuated my home on the coast due to the hurricane threat and they waived pet regulations and greeted us with water and hygiene essentials. This proves how this hotel goes above and beyond expectations.

Convenient location next to the interstate and Starbucks! Rooms are very clean and the staff are all so friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay again.

Pro: smart TV, balcony, fast check in with friendly staff. Cons: old rooms, poor lightning and limited access to outlets. Small TV, small bathroom sink area and inconvenient closet/mirror access. No shuttle service, despite plenty of places to eat about 2 miles away.

I have stayed here a couple times on business trips. It's great little hotel tucked in near the highway. Courtyard in the center with a pool and a separate area comfortable outdoor chairs to lounge and have a drink. Will return.

Staff was nice and helpful. I liked that the microwave was with the ice machine. Better than having to go to the lobby. Not much difference than having in the room. The room configuration was strange in that only one person could see the TV from the bed. Also, there was no luggage stand, so had to use a counter top for my bag. Finally, cigarette smoke wafted under the door, so even though it was a non smoking room, it still smelled of smoke. Although... It is in North Carolina after all.

Great and accessible location! Near attractions, restaurants and shopping. Great service and many amenities.

Friendly staff. Clean and courteous service which you expect from the Marriott brand. My only problem is my room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of service my entire 3 day stay. On the plus side... I got my steps and cardio workout each and everyday

They will not honor confirmed prices, change cost of room after reservations are made, and worse not correct it when caught, room was mediocre at best.

The rooms had an unpleasant smell at first but it cleared out soon enough. The rooms were sufficient to what I expected. The room service was friendly and timely.

I stayed at this hotel before and it really didn't hit me until I saw the Sonic next door lol! I booked this room a couple months in advance. The price was decent and cheaper than the others.
So checking in was a breeze. As always, I did it on my app. When I realized that this hotel did not have a morning breakfast, I was a little disappointed. In all honesty, that's the best part of a hotel other than hot showers.
When we got to the room, I was like "oh". It didn't really feel as "homey" as I thought it would. There was also a balcony that was attached the room, which was cool. The bathroom lighting was .. dark and it just felt weird. The gym was also a good size.
This hotel really needs to be renovated throughout. It felt very "old". I also wish that were better food choices around.

The hotel is clean and the staff was extremely nice and professional. The rooms near the ice machine don't block out the noise but the rooms are cozy. I had dinner at the restaurant in the lobby and the food was very good and service was quick.

It's an okay location. Get a room either facing the courtyard or just not facing the road... lots of road noise with the traffic passing by.

Very pleasing customer service. Clean, quite place and small rooms. Onsite Starbucks and Bristo for drinks and dunner....overall I enjoyed the stay.

Clean, and Very soft beds. The bar is great as well ad the bistro. The food is great the jacuzzi room is awesome. It really soothes you. The rooms could use a refrigerator. But is ice us readily available. The staff is also kind and helpful

The rooms are comfortable and clean. While the staff is friendly and accommodating.
There is good coffee in the deli, which to me is a daily necessity. But, skip the in-house deli for any meals. Their food quality is poor. (expired dressing for the salad, cardboard-like sausage patties)

Excellent customer service. Great breakfast options. Staff that made my breakfast were amazing. They had great chemistry. This was 10 22 17. I had a egg white frittata. It had nice fresh vegetables and well plated. It really made my morning. My wife and I if in the area again will be staying only here.

Was there for a seminar. Lobby was clean and bright and the two gentlemen at the front desk were helpful and curtious. There was a cafe off the long which looked good but I did not eat there. The room the seminar was held in was clean and the chairs were reasonably comfortable for seminar seating. The tables were covered with white table cloths and water and an assortment of hard candies were available and plentiful. There was a small paper tablet and a ballpoint stick pen for every seat. All in all a pleasant experience. The hotel appeared to be up to Marriotts usual standards. The hotel was easy to find using Google maps, and not far off the highway. There was a "Jack in the box" restaurant across the road from the hotel. I have attended other seminars at this hotel and have never had any problems.

Lovely place.Furniture was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable.
Still haven't figured out the bath tub yet,but the shower was so relaxing. Breakfast included in room rate and it was tasty from the Bistro. I would stay again.

Very nice place to stay!!! Super clean rooms and the pool was right outside our back door. Location was only about 10 minutes from carowinds. I'll be staying here every time we come into town!! Bonus- they have a bar and an exercise room.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I felt the rate was fair for what we got. The staff at the main desk was courteous and helpful. The only place where they need to step up their game is in the quality of the in-room coffee.

The king room that reserved I didn't not get. Even after I showed the receptionist my printed out email confirmation I received from the hotel after booking clearly stated that I reserved a king bed. She stated that there was none left so I was put in a double room. There was makeup on 1 of the pillow cases that was not mine since I don't wear foundation. The hotel was clean other than that but very dated. I was also disappointed that there was no complementary breakfast for the price. They rather sell you breakfast from the bistro located in the lobby. There are other hotels in the same area for the same price that offers better stays. I will not book here again, but I will use Marriott again. Hotel was just dated and the courtyard was run down.
