So amazing! Such a wonderful environment! So glad I came to the Grand opening here. Met Jody (the owner of the Salt cave) & her mother Beth, beautiful spirits! Had an energy clearing with Jason (in the smaller Salt Cave) & was blown away with the energy in his hands! He works w Chakra stones while he does the cleansing and it was so powerful! I literally knew where his hands were (with my eyes closed) & him just hovering his hands above me!!! Tim showed us the larger Salt Cave & we spent @ 15 mins in there. It's like a breath of fresh air sitting in there, so pure! Katy helped us make our own lil self care kits w oils, salts, dried herbs etc.
Also tried some treats from 'The Chill Peel' met Cedar the owner of The Chill Peel' & was drawn to her passion toward gratitude & love. It is obvious she puts that in all her creations. Snapped a pic of a gentleman named Tony enjoying her treats!
Amazing experience! I was in town for a weekend getaway and decided to schedule a 60 minute massage to start the weekend off right with! Soothing, calming, and relaxing atmosphere from the time you walk in! Beautiful place! Essential oils, salt stones and lamps, muscle rubs, etc on display for purchase! Foot salt lamps plugged in for you to relax your feet on while waiting on your massage! Water and tea to enjoy as well. Kelsey was my masseuse and she was wonderful! She focused on my problem areas perfectly without ignoring the rest of my body! I would recommend and will be back!
I just had a massage and salt cave session yesterday and it was blissful. The new space is really special and the staff are so friendly. The massage therapist (Jason) was knowledgeable and experienced and I felt safe entrusting my body to his care. I also love their salt boutique of all things salt and self care related. I will remember my experience fondly while I'm taking my salt bath at home in VT.
I kicked off 2020 with my focus on rejuvenation and realigning. What better way to relax than THE ultimate salt cave. The coolest, most relaxing experience ever! Their store is awesome as well. They had a huge sale and I was able to get two large salt lamps BOGO. Wish there was a location in Nashville. Will definitely be back!
This is a unique experience. It kind of felt like an expensive nap. They give you the option of ear plugs. I would recommend taking them up on that offer. If others make noise then it is distracting. There were 6 of us in the room for 30 minutes. I started to fall asleep but when anyone walks on the floor above the room it squeaks and is very distracting.
Fantastic massage from George. The man has a magic touch and is very intuitive as to what is needed. As always I'm extremely satisfied and feel great!
We went this past weekend (Sept 18) and I had the best massage I have ever had from George. I probably have had 30 in my lifetime. As for the "salt cave", it is more of a salt room. It wasn't very relaxing because it is below the parking deck. On a busy Saturday, the constant creek of the ceiling and thump of the tires above was distracting. (5 stars for George and 3 for the Salt Room)

Be very careful when you book an appointment. You have to pay for it upfront. With less than 24 hours notice there is no refund. If more than 24 hours notice there is a refund but they charge a service fee!!! Seriously?
Jack was a phenomenal masseur. I will travel back to Asheville Just for another massage by Jack and spend time in the salt cave again. Staff were amazing. Place is relaxing, clean, and has a great ambience. We went as a bachelorette party group and were not disappointed. Highly recommended!

Yes, go here! These people know what they are doing. You really do calm down and can meditate or sleep. Its the most calming atmosphere you can find on this side of the mountain. Arrive early and drink some tea. Put your feet on the salt. This would also make a great gift. My allergies completely go away during the 45 minute relaxation room!

Underwhelmed. Though the salt cave is pretty... they don't actually have the fine salt particals blown into the cave... App salt in the air is supposed to be from two salt water fountains in the room.

It was clean.
But Everytime someone walked across the second floor (the cave is on the ground floor) it sounded like the ceiling may fall in on you in the cave.
The most relaxing experience to date. Jason can deliver a deep tissue massage like no other. Love being surrounded by the healing effects of the warm glow from all the salt rock lamps. A must visit for anyone needing to reset and recharge.
Cozy and unique place to hangout. The salt is so cleansing and relaxing. All sorts of cool gems as well. Just a great experience.

What a excellent place to relax and reconnect with the earth. Friendly staff and very informative tour guide that led us thru a mild meditation before enjoying our 45 minutes in the cave. I highly suggest community case and also a salt foot massage. Lots of great places in Asheville, make this one of your favorites too. Def a 5 .
The people there were friendly from the moment that I stepped in the doors. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable massage. George made me feel comfortable. It has only been my second massage ever, but it was the best. Will definitely try to make it back.
Will not be visiting or recommending this establishment. Due to traffic accident arrived 15 minutes late. Tried to call no answer. Front counter (greeter) basically rude and body language indicated she just didn't care. Did not offer to slot on another day, only comment No Refunds - I can give you the owners number.
We drove an hour to scout experience.
Always nervous about a new place! But the massage was amazing! I Will definitely be back when I vist Asheville.

Quiet is essential to relax. There was live healing music(I paid a lot for the Sound Healing concert), a fountain running. The floor pillows and bolsters and crushed salt floor allowed you to really get comfortable (I chose the spot in the back with the fountain. I could run my hand over the salt walls.)
But it wasn't, because there is a sound like a herd of cattle running over head. I suspect it's loudest where I was, because there is no insulation of salt rocks suspended from the ceiling as there is in most of the room.
The fact that so many people have complained about this and they haven't insulated the ceiling is beyond disappointing, it feels like a deliberate rip off. Perhaps if I had known it was a parking garage I could have stopped trying to imagine WHAT THE HELL makes a noise like that? I tried my hardest to allow the intermittent thudding sounds into my clearing meditation as I 'pushed' out any negative emotions. Alas, I was not successful. The neighboring business has all the sound instruments, I will go there next time, he's excellent.
