Owner is a great guy! Cool place for a good work out!
Great coaches, great community, amazing training, with fun programs!!
CrossFit Core has made me stronger both mentally and physically. The coaches are inspiring, knowledgeable and motivating. Members are from all walks of life and abilities. There is definitely something for everyone; strength, metcons and FIT options.
Positive energy & great workout!

I've been coming to Core for just about three years now. It has always been a very positive environment for me. I've spent years going to the gym on my own and I can't really imagine going back after being immersed in the environment here. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.
Every trainer that I've had the pleasure of working with over the years has been wonderful to me. When I ask, they listen and have good critiques for my form and how to improve. I feel comfortable coming into any class, either to run with the crowd or to work on my basics. No one has a bad attitude when I see them; if you smile at them, you'll see they were already smiling at you.
I've been coming to this gym for so long that I actually met my girlfriend here. I don't think that would have been possible if this wasn't the kind of place that fostered an open and inviting mentality. This place is where I keep coming back to, day after day.
If you're open to making friends, it won't take long to find one. I look forward to seeing the familiar faces in the trenches and I'll look forward to meeting more.
I started going to Core in 2013 when I got out of college. I went because my friend had trained with Sean in the past, and she wanted to work out after having a baby. We both found a community of wonderful people and it was the only thing I looked forward to during the day.
I left the area for a year and tried out other Crossfit gyms in 2 cities. I couldn't wait to get back to Syracuse, partially to get back to the Core group.
The thing I love about Core is that the trainers will meet you where you are. Sean hires personable and educated trainers. My needs are always met.
I checked out Core knowing nothing about it while they had a free week trial going on. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming and I joined up. It's now a few months later and I'm still going strong. The workouts are great, and I find the supportive group atmosphere and coaches can really help push you on days when you aren't feeling it. I recommend checking it out.
Ive visited to many gyms up and down the east coast. Sean has a great program and brings excellent energy to each class. Programming is well balanced between strength and cardio. Also the equipment is top notch and the facilities are clean. My experience at core has been first rate. Highly recommended!!!!

I would strongly recommend against this gym. Not only is the owner a complete retard who couldn't run a gym if his life depended on it. But he's also very unprofessional. I've heard stories about Sean Eaton (the owner) trying to bang new clients. Giving women special treatment over the men. As well as letting go the only thing that Core had going for it, it's head trainer. If you're looking for crossfit please go elsewhere. This is only for old ladies who want to do their own thing and do everything wrong. There's no emphasis on form, actually there's no foundations class to teach form. Sean doesn't care what so ever. So why should anyone else.
