We love Agape! The Ra family are incredible and our son looks forward to seeing them everyday at the superb after-school program and in class. There is a wonderful sense of expertise, calm and respect that is priceless at Agape. We are looking forward to sending our younger child as soon as she is 4.
I have been training at Agape Black Belt Center for about a year in their hapkido program and I love every moment of it! Master Ra is a master of taekwondo, judo, and hapkido and the Ra family runs an efficient, knowledgeable, and family-friendly dojang!
Mr. Bill Bendschneider is the hapkido instructor (also a black belt in the art) and he does a wonderful job of making the lessons accessible to all skill levels. I started with only a very basic level of martial arts knowledge and have had a ton of fun learning hapkido and progressing through the belt levels. Hapkido has been a great way for me to stay in shape and learn self-discipline.
Agape BBC also runs after school programs, summer camps, and more for kids of all ages. They always have fun programs going on and I recommend the dojang to anyone who is looking to grow in their knowledge of taekwondo or hapkido!

My spirit of martial artist has been revived by Agape and it keeps growing with the guidance of Master Ra and his family. Greatest environment to improve as a martial artist and person, you learn from everybody, even 8 year old kids. If I could live in the dojang I would have done it.

We are so proud to be part of Agape black belt center . Our kids joined the center almost 6months ago. We are so impressed with the improvements in their focus, behavior, self confidence and self control. The Ra family is a great example of the perfect family.
Last year, in November, we realized that out 6 year old was having trouble in 1st grade. It wasn't the academics; it was the paying attention and the following directions part of school that she wasn't getting. We decided to look for a Taekwondo program because we knew that the activities in a Taekwondo class would develop these skills in her.
After meeting with Master Ra, we knew that his traditionally run studio would be just what we were looking for.
Fast forward to today. Our 7 year old has made amazing progress in focus and following directions! We are so happy. Now she is learning leadership skills as well. We are solidly committed to Agape Black Belt Center and will be training here for years to come.
For nearly three years I have watched my shy, introverted grandson find confidence and strength -both physical and mental- at Agape. Master Ra is not a con man. The other review is odd and anyone who has spent any time at all with him would find it ridiculous.
He has the students pushing themselves, ever encouraging, and finding new strengths and inner confidence. Classes are fun to watch and all are invited at any time to come and visit and watch or participate in a class.
It's a unique and wonderful martial arts school. Before you go anywhere else, at least meet Master Ra and watch a class! You'll see what I mean!
