Enrolling at Rochester Muay Thai has been nothing short of life-changing for me. This gym is different than others in that Christian genuinely cares about each and everyone of his students and is highly committed to bring out the very best in them. He's got a keen eye on detail and technique, which means that you will excel no matter where you stand in your practice. His humbleness, great personality and enthusiasm for the sport is felt everywhere in the gym.

I ENJOYED! I am from Singapore and was in Rochester for 1 week course. I decided to join a gym to spend my free time practicing Muay Thai. After reading the review, i found Rochester Muay Thai and I chose the correct gym. Christian is a very welcoming and attentive coach. The people in the gym are very friendly. I did not felt like a stranger in the gym. The training was great! I went 4 times in 7 days. Thank You Rochester Muay Thai!

Rochester Muay Thai is a great place to train and learn if you have experience or not. Having been involved in martial arts, Muay Thai and boxing for over 30 years I highly recommend Rochester Muay Thai. Christian is a very knowledgeable and humble instructor. The class structure is excellent!

Rochester Muay Thai is hands down the best Muay Thai gym in the Rochester area. It is authentic traditional Muay Thai which is unparalleled in Rochester.
The head coach and owner (Christian) is a very genuine and good man. I'm a firm believer that the trainer(s) at a gym sets the tone. The energy and vibe from him and his students is outstanding, positive, and extremely welcoming. I felt immediately embraced by Christian and the students who train here. Everyone is very friendly and they make you feel instantly comfortable. The gym has a family feeling to it.
As for the training, you are guaranteed to work hard. It is challenging, but, in a way that is rewarding. Christian is a very good teacher. He goes around correcting technique and working individually with each student to ensure proper execution of the moves. You can easily feel his love for the sport of Muay Thai. He possess all of the essential qualities of a good teacher. He is very knowledgeable, encouraging, very patient, no ego, has a great attitude, and he is a really humble guy.
This is the kind of place you can feel comfortable bringing family or a close relative to. No egos, just a cool bunch of people doing what they enjoy.

I went to a tryout class today and it was a great workout. Christian is a great instructor and the class was a blast. Rochester Muay Thai is definitely worth checking out.

I am new student of Rochester Muay Thai and I even managed to convince my brother to join. Our introduction classes were excellent and I had no doubt in my mind about continuing here. Christian is very patient and humble which are great attributes to this school and his teaching. I encourage anyone that is looking for this sort of fighting style to stop by and try out a class, you won't regret it.

Rochester Muay Thai is amazing! Christian is such a great and patient instructor. He really takes the time to explain how to properly do the movements and is encouraging throughout the whole process.
It was really important to me to find a place where not only the instructor was great but also the students. I had no desire to go to a place with big egos and where people are trying to knock my head off.
It is truly a wonderful learning environment and if you are looking for a place to get a incredible workout while learning some great self defense skills, look no further and check this place out!

Fantastic place, great atmosphere. Christian is a great instructor and will you push you pass your comfort zone. You'll improve every class, and perform techniques you'd never thought you'd be able to thanks to how very detailed and patient Christian is with every student. You're a part of a team that does nothing but encourage and help each other from start to finish. Highly recommended. I'll be training here with Christian until my shins fall off. I, 2nd Peters statement, Christian is definitely my hero. Sawadeekhap!
