all women's gym with classes and personal training to help achieve fitness goals! Very comfortable environment and has a variety of equipment that some other local gyms don't have.

This place has, in my opinion, steadily gone downhill. More and more people get off the machines and never, EVER wipe them down. Of course, this may be understandable due to the fact that when the trainers are signing up new members, they don't bother to tell them or wipe the machines down themselves. There are numerous signs that are ignored. You get ladies sitting on machines talking/texting while you are waiting to use them, people yakking away on their cell phones on the exercise floor and competing racket from the overhead music and the music blaring away - along with the hooping and hollering - from the Power 30 classes. They shoved all the machines closer together to start these Power 30 classes, which by the way, are in addition to your regular membership. There is a sign on the door of the sad sauna that says no cell phone use in there but that also goes unheeded. They will call you constandly with VERY push "scripts" to renew, even though I made it clear I did not want ANY calls when I signed up. I had to block their number. And they will harass you with trying to get family and/or friends to join. Needless to say, I won't renew nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone. Try Planet Fitness in Northgate Plaza or LA Fitness right up the road at the corner of Ridge and Fetzner, you'll be a lot happier. I have never seen anyone at Planet Fitness not wipe a machine down AND the staff is constantly wiping things down when no one is on a piece of equipment.

I worked an event there and even though this is a gym for women only and there were areas that I couldn't go into, the staff all treated me warmly and were very friendly. Ladies if you're looking for a place to workout at I recommend you give rack try.

Early morning class options are fewer each year. Management is not really interested in client input unless it's time to renew your contract. I use the elliptical a couple times a week because it's close to home, but I finally joined the Ymca for my early morning workouts. Won't be renewing with Rac again.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I called to cancel my membership and was told the date it expired. I explicitly stated that I did not want to renew and asked if would automatically renew itself. I was told no. I asked if there was anything I needed to do to cancel. The woman said no, it will expire and not automatically renew. You do not need to do anything further. The day after it expired, I was charged for the following month. When I called the corporate office to discuss the matter, the woman said there was nothing she could do. Poor customer service and unethical business practices.

I have been a member at the RAC for 10+ years. I have always had a 12 month contract in those 10+ years. I don't use the club as much due to family obligations, I no longer work in close proximity, & the RAC sold some of their convenient locations. I debated on renewing last December 2016 but was talked into renewing by the front desk staff. She took care of a new contract ($19.99/month) right at the front desk computer and had me sign electronically. Turns out she signed me up for a 24 month membership without verbally communicating that to me. When I called Jan 2018 to see why my card was still being charged beyond my 12 month contract, I was informed it was actually a 24 month contract. My electronic copy was emailed to an old email address that I no longer use & I only had 3 days to dispute the contact according to the billing department. It would have been nice if staff told me they were changing my contract terms for 12 to 24 months. An RAC staff member defended these changes I was unaware of by saying they are "not required to verbally discuss changes in the contract, that's why it was emailed". That is deceitful and not a company I ever want to do business with again. When renewing check you contract ladies, don't give the RAC the benefit of the doubt. I assumed they were giving me the same 12 month contract I've had for years but that was not the case.

It's a nice ladies only gym. They have enough equipment although the new change in layout has made it a tight fit. The only thing missing as with all the gyms in our area is a pool for those who need any easier on the joints workout to help with health rehabilitation from injuries. It child definitely use to be cleaner but I ding understand why they have only male cleaners at an all ladies facility. Plus cleaning should be done after the gym closes. Personal opinion but it's not only distracting but extremely annoying to have a man in the gym area vacuuming while the facility is still open!!

I am in the process of trying to cancel my gym membership because I moved 38 miles away from this location to live with my grandparents. Mind you, they are 85 and live on the lake where there is major flooding that will still be an issue for many more months. Furthermore, they will need my help beyond the floods. I also have the privilege of being able to work where I chose so that's why I moved myself out there. I didn't want to change my drivers license as I still want my bills and such to go to my moms address. What's the point of changing all of that?

After being juggled around from person to person, I finally spoke with Michelle at the corporate office who informed me that cancelling was not an option if I didn't change my license AND start receiving mail to the new location. Again, what's the point? Also, I could barely understand her because her connection was so bad (which she addressed she knew was a problem on her end). How can you run a corporate office and not have a phone system to handle calls?

Furthermore, I have only utilized this membership maybe 4 times total. I am trying to cut down on pointless bills (monthly subscription boxes, going out to eat, and this unused gym membership). I guess I'm just confused why when I was signing things, I was told that I could cancel for $25 whenever I wanted. But then when I went to do it, oops sorry it was in the contract. Which by the way, I signed on a keypad while the computer was facing away from me and to the gym associate I was signing up with. All I looked at was a piece of paper that said my new monthly price on it. This is when I was told I could cancel for $25.

All in all, be VERY weary of this chain of gyms because they will hide things in small print so they can leech money from you. I don't use their services, it's not like I'm wearing on their equipment or costing them utilities.. They will juggle you around until someone decides to help you and then provide vague answers like some cold hearted robot. Very unfortunate that a business like this exists. I will continue to spread the word about this messed up situation. $180 more that I owe to them until the end of my membership. I will never return and will make sure no one I know ever signs something from this company.

This gym is the best!! I really wanted to make some life changes and get in shape, and the RAC helped me do that! Nicole was there to encourage and guide me - helping me to see results pretty quickly, and it was fun!! The facilities are clean, the classes are great, and I felt more comfortable there than at any gym I've ever been a member at. Highly recommended!

No excuses, just join. I did what no one wants to do, I signed up for the gym and never went. I didn't have the motivation or the encouragement to go. After my first year was done, I didn't think I've ever sign up for the gym again, but then I met Nicole McGuckin! She is the best fitness coach anyone could ask for! She gives you tips, keeps you accountable and is always a smiling face. I wouldn't have the success I've had so far without her and I recommend her to everyone. She is the best!

I love this gym!!!! There are a bunch of free classes! All the employees are amazing including my training coach, Brooke Reed! Love her! The price is right and the gym equipment is top notch and tailored for women. The gym is always clean and bright! They even have inexpensive childcare. I love my experience every time!
