They took away the scales in the locker room, they moved everything around and got rid of some strength machines in favor of cardio

Staff at this location is very helpful. Parking lot feels safe and everyone is nice, the gym is clean. Typical Planet Fitness.

They gym itself is nice. But there memberships are so messed up with pricing and what you get. And don't even get me started on how much it cost me to cancel my membership

Very clean and friendly atmosphere. The black card amenities were sanitized and service was exceptional.

Workers are always cleaning and they are friendly. They know me by name. The equipment is new. And their trainer is free. And he is willing to teach you.

Amazing staff/service regardless of when you go. I have attended early day, morning, afternoon, evenings and late/overnights, all of which have been remarkable experiences.

Lacks the real necessary equipment like squat racks and benches but can't really complain because of it's cheap price

I left a smaller club to join PF and I was worried I would regret the small gym feel but PF has honestly been great. They have the equipment I need, their black card member services are top knotch and my friends can always come with me. Absolutely worth the switch.

The staff there likes to tell a lot of lies. More when it comes to roping you in a contract and paying $200 deductible to cancel... "Cancel any time" my @$$

I switched from the Greece gym awhile back,and I couldn't be happier.
Every interaction I have there is friendly and helpful. Every employee in there is knowledgeable. I want to give special props to the manager Samantha. When I needed help with a printout of my visits to get a reimbursement from my insurance compqny, she was very helpful.
I couldn't ask for a better start or manager, to be in charge of my gym.

Nice and easy gym. Low price can't complain they finally added new equipment after 7+ years. The gates facility is a step behind compare to the rest which isn't fair

Awesome as always, but please can rid of pizzas and bagels , why not serve fruit Friday, and vegetable Wednesday or something instead of this unhealthy food that is being flaunted in front of people's faces who are trying to complete a goal of losing weight and becoming healthy. I was insulted when I came to work out on there was pizza and there were three women walking around eating pizza judging people right and left laughing at them. I literally watched one woman who is slightly heavy sat getting humiliating look in her face get off of the hip abduction machine and head towards the locker room. I went into the locker room and I saw her preparing to leave and I asked her if she had a good workout, she told me she didn't she had just gotten there and felt insulted because there were people eating pizza and laughing at her for trying to lose weight. This is ridiculous and people who do not have memberships there should not be allowed to have the pizza at the least because they are being rude to people who pay for the membership

I understand the target group planet fitness is shooting for and that they really only want people to pay the ten bucks not show up and not put wear and tear on the equipment. That being said , if you tell someone they cannot perform a certain excersize because it's a liability and then tell them how they can do it on a machine that is acctually more likely to cause them injury , your the liability. Why don't employees go around help people perform excersizes properly instead of telling people who know what they are doing that they can't? Currently looking for another gym... Sucks cause most of the regularly attending people are fun to workout with and around

It truly is a judge free zone ,all employees are very kind and acurate,it's clean ,peaceful environment to get a full stress free work out ,and the personal trainer is very kind and willing to work with your schedule. Only down fall is no swimming pool and no late hours on Fridays. All that aside it's a great place.

This gym has a friendly staff, tons of workout equipment, free weights, dumbbells, bench press, Smith machines, lots of treadmills, a huge space, clean locker room, cardio equipment, ellipticals, etc. great for any level of fitness training and open when I want to workout.

Best gym I have ever seen. The customer service is great. I found all the tools I needed to build my muscles. It is open everyday

Definitely a great place to workout. More of a place for those who aren't overly serious about it. Can't be too loud or grunt if you're trying to max out and hit new PR's but that's okay because it's a good price and everything is clean.
Do yourself a favor though and purchase a lock if you wanna use a locker. I put a little too much trust in the people who go here and had my keys stolen right out of my locker recently... I've been putting my keys in a locker for a year and then finally someone took them... the front desk didn't seem too interested in helping.

My favorite planet fitness to go to however the female manager is very rude and makes things up that you can and can't do, for instance she would not let me tan because I checked in at 620 the day before and it was 532 the next day and it had been less than 24 however . any other location I go to or employee i go to even other managers do not give me this issue. She states it IS NY state law that how ever is not true. I have been tanning since I was 16. You legally can not go in the same day twice it is not 24 hours. So because it is less 50 minutes away from being 24 hours she tells me I can't tan today and was rude about it. I will make sure to have someone else check me when I go.

Been to other planet fitness. Wish it had more equipment like the others. Pat is the only kid that ever seems to be working there. Anytime I ask him a question, he doesn't know the answer to anything. He always grabs my keys forcefully and throws then back at me. Poor customer service. Jorge that works on the weekends is great! Nicest guy you'll ever meet!

Compared with the Dewey Ave Planet Fitness in Greece, this place is bigger, and they have a few big fans on the ceiling. They even have one barbell station with free weights instead of only Smith machines and those tiny barbell sets that go up to 60ibs.
Even though this gym may be seen as better than other gyms in the area, I personally take the extra 5 minute drive to the Greece PF. The staff are more laid back and it always seems less busy than Gates. What's the point of going to a nice gym for a cheap price if you can't find a bench that isn't taken and even when you get one, you're uncomfortably close to the people next to you.
I do believe Planet Fitness is the way to go, it's just about settling on the right one, check them both out
