Many things to do swim, weights, group classes & many activities for kids !
I love the place my only issue is not enough staff to help you understand some of the newer machines
It does get very crowded, but you have to find a good time to go.
They don't have enough machines for the people who go, not to much space is very limited
I only went 3 times and they charged me $ 76
Every time I went it was full.
I tried to go different hours but it didn't work
I explained it to the assistant manager and she answered me very roughly, that is not a gym

I am a nation-wide member who stopped by to visit and use the gym, and unlike Kathy's kindness, Mrs. Brenda was uninviting and rude. Whether it was a guest pass, a random visit or anything else, Mrs. Brenda could have spoken to me differently, positively. In my YMCA in Tampa, the team receives us with arms wide open, it's truly a family and they truly embrace the YMCAs mission. I have also visited other YMCAs in different states and they are all welcome. I was born and raised in the Bronx and I was hoping to see the same positive energy in this location but I didn't, typical for the Bronx. What was I thinking...this place is full, dark and boring. This YMCA doesn't look and feel like a YMCA, at all.
Had a free day pass the last day of $0 membership! Found out I'd be charged $56 monthly by phone during the bus ride home. It was hard getting answers to pertinent questions, I kept getting told to wait. If I decide to join, I'll keep my questions reserved for someone who won't give me the brush off!

Horrible experience... Jade Vega, I hope you are able to see this message. You are able to submit a complaint in their website which I did, unfortunately the Director Sharon will cover for her staff as well. We went through what you went through too but luckily, I was able to get a refund. This place is unprofessional a disgrace, please do not trust this place to care for your kids in the summer. My son was also bullied, there is no communication with staff members. They actually expect you to know their codes. The nerve to say that we were aware that my son was on another age group because of the sign in sheet. I' m sorry I don't speak YMCA code and sorry in trusting you guys that is why I never cared to ask. Communication is horrible and so unethical, no sympathy no apology. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I hope more parents will come and put in their review. I hope the whole staff is change one day because its a horrible place for kids in the summer. I gave 1 star because I had no choice but I will give them nothing.

stupid place is a joke. i cancel my membership 2 months ago and i was still being charged. i just stop by the gym to get an answer why and get my money refund and this girl Latishia i think was her name told they dont do refund and she just cancel it now at that particular moment i was there even tho it was supposed to be canceled two months ago.

False advertising to the fullest.To sign up is 135$ and you are paying for nothing
I wanted to combine work out and swimming but instead what I found was 3 rate country gym and pool that adults can use from 9:30 am to 11:00 am and after it's taken over by kids.
If they need a donation I would gladly given one but to pay 135 $ to sign up and 50$ a month afterwards it's ludacris.
It's seems as a good thing for kids from the neighborhood and that's great but they should not advertise to grown ups
I felt lied too and cheated out of my money.
If you wanna donate feel free but to join as a member you will be flushing your money's down the toilet.
