Some instructors are amazing but a couple are a letdown - I have chronic back pain due to disc issues so when an instructor doesn't have a good understanding of anatomy I feel it immediately. They also take too many students per class.

I just purchased intro package from Zen & Yoga the studio doesn't not let me take class if I don't show out my ID. I purchased the class pass from mindbody app I don't have my ID. I'd like to get the refund from the studio but the Zen Yoga Studio wants me to get the refund from the mindbody app!! If you are first time visiting remember to bring your ID!!!!

It has a great location next to supermarkets, restaurants, banks, and other places that you have to go to on weekends. I just park my car and get all my choars done and then got to yoga (FYI parking is hard to find). I started taking introduction/begginers yoga class (I have never done yoga before) at Zen & Yoga. It was very easy to follow, the indtustors are super helpful. The classes are held frequently and are not too crowded. They also have adavance classes and hot yoga along with yoga for pregnant women and young kids.

Probably about the worst yoga studio I have ever been to. The physical layout is so restrictive very small studios markings on the floor for placement of matts which literally put you on top of each other. Sometimes extremely overcrowded. No space no management or planning to allow any type of flow to get in and out of class or in or out of the studio. Complete madness. I will say the instructors are fair to good. But definitely would not recommend this studio to anyone.

I absolutely LOVE this yoga studio. I purchased a 20-class groupon for $69 bucks....making each class come out to less than $4, which is pretty damn amazing. I am by no means a seasoned yogi, and am not a skinny chick, but the instructors and fellow classmates are never judgmental. I wasn't even taking classes regularly until I started coming here, but I plan on buying another package as soon as my groupon expires. The studio is clean and comfortable (and in contrast to one of the posts below, there is AC...except not in the hot room, because, well, it's HOT yoga) and the instructors do open the window. They even often survey the class to see how everyone feels by asking questions like "should we put on the AC, can we open the blinds, etc etc." There is a good variety of classes at different times of day and it's been fun to try all of the different instructors and class levels. I was surprised that after 4 classes or so, I felt confident in a Yoga I&II class! I have never had a bad experience here, and I'm a critical person in general. The staff is also super friendly...they've let me use my credit card to purchase water when I forgot to bring cash (even though it was way under the $10 cc limit), and one day when I came in after a REALLY rough day, one for the owners was so nice...asked me if I was ok, and even the instructor gave me a little extra attention that evening. This has become my immediate go-to after a stressful day at work. I wake up now and ask myself if I have time to make it to yoga that evening...it's one of the first times in my life that I've looked forward to exercise and it's made a drastic difference for me mentally. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone....start with an all level class and take it from there! I've found that Drew and Ivan are good for beginners and Isabel and Rachel are your go-to girls when you're looking for a challenge. :)

The worst facility in such a good location. Yoga meant to be relaxation in a peaceful place. They have the yoga and reception (where people change etc) in the same room merely separated by old glass door and you keep hearing reception on the phone all the time, people who leav or come chatting etc. so you are like doing yoga in the middle of the traffic road..... Never relaxed, thier trainers are in fact taking classes in Manhathan as I tried this facility 3 times while attending classes in Manhathan and 2 of their trainers are my classmate in Manhathan.

I learned about this yoga studio after purchasing a groupon for five sessions of hot yoga. From the first day I visited the staff was always friendly and helpful.
I took all 5 sessions with an instructor by the name of Gail. The classes were challenging in my opinion for both beginners and those who were more advanced. However, my main concern was with the actual class room where the hot yoga sessions were being held. The floor of the classroom is marked with tape in order to outline each space. But the marked spaces are just big enough to fit your yoga mat. That means absolutely no elbow room at all and in a room full of sweaty people that can be rough. Sadly I witnessed that some people, namely men, absolutely could not fit in the spaces. But even for those of us that could fit within the outlined spaces your movement often has to be very restricted so performing some of the moves and stretches can be awkward. But the worse part for me was being hit by a strangers sweat - Ugggh!! The tight spacing definitely did not work for me at all so I did not pursue any additional sessions after the five that I had prepaid for.
