Rude and over booked
Great class for little pre-K and K girls starting to exercise. It is group class, fun and active in a spacious hall. Always a great time for myself to sit and see these little girls running and doing exercises in groups with the relaxing music in the background.
As a student here, I can confidently say this place has taught me so many things and I had made so many friends as well as memories. The coaches are very hard on you, but its for the best. I can remember the first day I was so freaked out, but I can look back at that day with the satisfaction of reaching so many of my goals, and currently am still setting more. You can go in knowing nothing but after a semester, do so many things you haven't before. My built for rhythmic gymnastics has been built so much I turn to it when there's too much stress!

My daughter joined the program 3 years ago, when she was almost 6. And it is by far the best return on my investment. The class duration is double or more of what other programs offer for the same price. It is an intensive program with a highly qualified coach, who cares about progress of every single child. I haven't seen anything like this in other activities. And we saw results very quickly! My daughter became not only more flexible and athletic, but she is more disciplined and determined. Coach Mila taught her to stay focused on the goals and work hard to achieve the results. And now my daughter uses those skills everywhere else.
Highly recommend gymnastics in Forest Hills as my daughter has been going there for three years... the staff is friendly approachable and always ready to help a child learn no matter what the circumstances are... not only do you go and practice 2 to 3 times per week for 2hrs each but you also can get into Times Square Garden and perform during halftime... that was another amazing experience for my daughter... truly highly recommended...

It's also such a wonderful feeling to see the progress of your child: you remember the day 1 when you just brought her to gymnastics and in few months you see all the amazing results. Not only during the final performance, but also in real life: posture, coordination, discipline, being more organized.
The main teacher is a sport master in gymnastics. She is tough, but at the same time caring and knowing the limits. The helping team is also very professional. They all have dancing/ gymnastics background and education. They know what they are doing. The kids have a nice example of gymnasts in front of them.

I called last year to register my daughter for classes and was rudely told by the male on the phone to come on a certain day. When I tried to explain that I work during the week, he shot me down saying weekends are too busy and he wants to give attention to all students and rushed me off the phone, not allowing me to once again explain that I work Monday through Thursdays until 8 pm which leaves me zero time to travel back to gymnastics during the week. I do have to say that I have heard good things but wish I had been given the chance to enroll my daughter. Instead, I enrolled my daughter again at Lana's Gymnastics which is a bit out of the way but definitely more welcoming AND Jorday's Dance Studio which is amazing.
