Sonny Mayo Sensei is an excellent instructor! I highly recommend his training for both law enforcement and military personnel.

Guru Mayo is with out a doubt one of the greatest instructors of Kali and mma in ny. with a respect and loyalty for training members of the law enforcement community, as well as civilians... His Dojo has a great energy and is a family...not a business..I highly recommend the Mayo academy to anyone serious about training

Sensei Sonny mayo is the real deal. I've been training is martial arts for almost thirty years, so I have some experience dealing with instructors Sensei Sonny not only possess an incredible amount of knowledge, but and this is truly important he is a humble man and truly has a gift connecting with his students if you want the type of training Trigon Tactics offer this is the place to be.

The training is top notch for any law enforcement officer in dealing with tense situations and learning how to defend and control in those situations. Also would recommend it for anyone who wants to be tactically advantage

Attending classes at Mayo Academy was a great experience! I learn new things and techniques, great professional athmosphere and very knowledgeable instructor. If Law Enforcement or Military is your occupation you should come to Mayo Academy! Anything you learn can be a difference between life and no life:) if you are civilian, it will be great self defense classes.

As a law enforcement officer i find this training to be the best around. The training is real time based scenarios that are not taught at the Academy. This training will save your life!

I had the great privilege to be able to attend Sonny Mayos stick and knife introduction instructor course. A great instructor and a wealth of knowledge. What i have learned in one day I am able to include into my units Army Combatants Programs. Wether you are Law Enforcement or Military I would suggest looking into his course.

I was lucky enough to attend a short training session/demonstration a few years ago and wish I could train every day with Mayo and his associates. I am in federal law enforcement now, and the techniques he teaches are perfect for law enforcement and also for those looking for self defense. The few things I was able to be shown during that short session were intuitive,effective, and simple. Not so much complex fine motor skills but more gross motor skills that won't be hard to remember in a fight. Anyone that wants amazing training with effective and excellent instruction should go here. You will not be dissapointed.
