I think this gym is pretty good considering its size. However I do think the staff could enforce more a no phone policy. I've been here for 2 hours most days and I always see the same people on the machine on phones. I know they're are peak hours and that's fine, but this shouldn't count.

It gets way too packed and it's not that big. Nonetheless, its highly convenient location bumps it up to 3 stars. The staff is also cool and the crowd that works out there are good people.

Amazing location, super convenient and very affordable memberships especially the black card. Did some research on the red light therapy(photobiomodulation) and have seen amazing results in skin and performance after a workout! Also a great way to unwind after a workout coming from work. They are open 24 hours for the weekdays

Affordable and pretty ok !! I cancelled my membership because I felt like the lair-like basement (no windows) + women-unfriendly atmosphere (men ogling my body while I worked out, making me feel really self-conscious / unsafe) wasn't a good space for me. I wanted to write a review to just say that the General Manager, Carlos, is seriously amazing!! I was so impressed with how he trained his team member and expertly handled every problem put in front of him. At least 3 stars for Carlos alone and one for the gym itself.

It gets the job done for me but I go early mornings when it's not too crowded. It is a comfortable atmosphere, haven't encountered any pervs yet. The downside is that the bathrooms are not well maintained. I found a condom near the sink once. Weird but the members are partly to blame for being so unclean. Also, the flooding in the basement is a problem sometimes. They shut down the basement when this happens and the ground floor gets crowded. Other then that it's an ok gym.

Unfortunately, the gym is too crowded to exercise. Even going there at 6 am means waiting up to 30 mins for a machine and that's not good at all when you're doing your routine. I suggested getting more machines.

I would give 0 STARS if it would let me. I just move to Jackson Heights and decided to check out Planet Fitness since I live down the block.
I told the girl at the desk I was interested in becoming a member and would like to check out the gym. Right away she said 20 bucks. Did not offer to show me around. Told me nothing about the equipment or anything that comes with the membership. Very rude. Been in the fitness game along time, been to alot of gyms over the years. In all my years I never paid to check out a new place to become a member. I sucked it up and paid because this place was down the block. No staff member showed me around or ask how was my workout or did I enjoy training there. I decided not to become a member there , if there treating potential members like that how do they treat their current members. Verry disappointed in Planet Fitness of Jackson Heights.

What do you expect for $10/ month. Super crowded and annoying on weeknights, try to go during mid day if possible. Otherwise you will have to fight off the inconsiderate bro posses that collect around the weights and hog machines for extended lengths of time.

They should tell u when u sign up the only membership to get is the best or they treat you like the red headed step child. All I wanted was a Gatorade and I had $5 but I couldn't get one because I needed exact change. Where does it say that. I'll be sure to check next time.

Two thumbs down for Planet Fitness in Jackson Heights, NY! I just confronted a man video recording a woman on a machine and notified the women and the employees. The pervert was only confronted, when he should have been kicked out and membership terminated! Planet Fitness is supposed to be a safe zone......yeah right. So I cancelled MY membership. I told them I don't want to go where they allow perverts to stay. This gym rather allow me to cancel my membership than to cancel the perverts membership....so ask yourself if you want to give your money to this gym?

Great gym ...great staff..clean..never have to wait for machines or weights....locker rooms are clean and well kept...10 stars if could give more I would.

Pretty okay place for a workout. If you come during peak hours, expect a bit of a wait between sets or to use equipment. Overall pretty clean but some people are pretty yuck sometimes.

Awful parking situation but high turnover, only one hour parking? That means I have to put on my coat to out money in the meter sweating it up then go back go my locker and restart the workout srsly not cool. Small weight section, the basement floor kinda cramped. If you can over look that it's an over all good gym

Sometimes here is crowded and personal here often forgot add soup to shower. Sometimes they haven't hot water. After big rains basement flooded. Another things good

Affordable good facility. Over crowded. And one person with all the weights in front of him others have to wait. The exercise weight training area needs constant watch to time people otherwise treadmill and cycling would be the only options for peoole.

This place is very welcoming. I appreciate the fact that when they opened up, they transferred Ariel to this gym. Ariel is such a nice young man. He is always pleasant and willing to help out.

This gym is clean and has a good amount weights and machines available. Except it gets packed! This is probably the nicest gym in the area therefore everyone goes. Peak hours are definitely peak. The weights are always full but i go because I live in the neighborhood

This location is outrageously discriminating environment. I joined 2 mo ago with black membership hoping that I get all of those services under this membership but some of them just for attracting peoples. For example, there was no personal training available as committed to provide. I experienced badly with bias treatment over racial background. If you speak only english not Spanish then staff working there would treat you differently. For example, when I asked if I get two coins for chair massage, they denied saying that 'one coin at a time' but at the same time when another member asked for coins communicating with Spanish language, front desk staff gave two coin and he used in my eye front, When I complain why he can get but not me? then they answer that he might already had one with him but that was totally lie. Second incident, When I took my son to the Gym as a guest, they stopped him and asked for identity show than took almost 10 minutes to get permit but when I watch other people coming along with guest, they were never stopped and asked for verification because they were speaking Spanish. When I felt this bitter experience then I decided to cancel my membership even I knew that I'm gonna loose $100 ( $58 for cancellation fee + $ 40 for annual registration fee) because I could not take that level of unfair and discriminative treatment based on identity. Therefore I strongly suggest all prospects who are willing to join in this particular location, make sure you speak Spanish and don't care about sanitation and promises they offer.

On first impression, very professional staff to greet. Gym well lit and machines not as close as in other gyms. Very clean. Everyone is there solely to work out and not disruptive. Will be returning.
