First impression poor as all get out. Made an appointment after joining on line, woke up early Saturday only to find out that the young lady who schedule my appointment made it for the wrong day, I did not ask the extremely rude young lady who poorly attempted to assist me her name ( braces rude demeanor) , not only was she rude but she spoke with a tone as if I made the mistake and not her incompetent co worker, the reviews stated the staff was rude, the young lady next to her was very pleasant. Let's see when I return for the training session if the staff is better......young people nowadays are so damn entitled and rude, the old me would have responded very differently.......

Great place off peak but quicky turns into a zoo during peek hours Floor plan needs rethinking especially in the barbell area to maximize training space and equipment acessability. Gym needs signs explaining gym etiquette and employees to inforce rules. There is absolutely no reason why a squat rack should be occupied by someone doing dumbell curls and crunches or someone treating a medicine ball like a basketball or people resting on equipment browsing social media and people not placing equipment in the correct location after use.
Every gym can get a bit crazy around peak hours but with this place, I just felt like I was in a playground. Things get worse when people don't respect the space around you, it's etiquette but also for safety. The gym itself has a good variety of machines/equipment and the locker room felt well kept. It's best if you can beat the crowd to get the most out of it.
No frills gym with the things you need to get the job done. Can't beat the membership price. Friendly staff.
I've started working with Juan, one of their personal trainers, and he deserves 5 stars. For someone who doesn't like gyms, he's be extremely helpful in targeting the routines I need to start and makes it attainable.
I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. I only entered the gym ONE time which should be considered a one day trial. Although I only have a one time entry they are still charging me the $60 annual fee, refuse to refund my $20 annual fee that was hidden and still charging me $32 for a prorated fee! Entirely too much just for one day! Corporate was absolutely no help!
No water. Hard to believe but water fountain situation is abysmal. Barely anything comes out. It's been this way for a month and a half. Management does nothing. Would give zero start if possible.
A huge gym. Even thoughvit has a large space, the gym is crowdy. Morining time is preferable if you want to do some wait free exercise.
Neat and clean place. Have a lots of gear. Choose your one to start up. They also have trainer if you need one but you have to pay. You can buy lessons on package to save some money.

Best time to go early in the morning. Staff is lazy. They keep chatting and flirting with each other. When you see them going IN/OUT. You hardly see anybody cleaning the place. Management must look into these things and fired these good for nothing staff.
Excellent experience. Friendly staff. Place is always clean. I am going after I completed my routine and leave for home. Gym is not for socializing!!! To me it is an excellent place for work out!!!

Really poor maintenance are kept. I stop going there cause people don't really clean up. The one at 54st and Roosevelt is the right place to be.
great gym and helpfull staf
This place gets so packed ,you even have to make a line and wait for machine to be available, I prefer go past 11:00pm that's when almost and I said almost the equipment is available
COmplete scam artists. contract was ended and recurrent charges were still being processed. Dispute filed with the credit card company. absolutely no help from management and poor excuses. They could care less about past customers
worse corporation ever. I had to paid $41.80 for an annual fee, $20.90 for the 45 days of cancellation and an extra $13.49 for no reason. Not only that, but i just got an emailed saying that I owed $27.90 after a have proof of documentation of my account balance to be $0. Dont waste your time on blink. Go to a real gym.
Not bad considering the price; not bad at all. This is an Equinox gym family member and it's their way of saying, "Screw off!" to the likes of Planet Fitness, Snap Fitness and childcare center with gym operator, Life Time.
The equipment is much like what you'll catch at Equinox but the treadmills and cardio equipment are a few steps down. Free weights and everything else are the same things you'll find at Equinox, only they're silver and black here instead of white and black.
There is no towel service, no nonstop cleaning, no Kiehl's and no steam room. There's also no $210/month price tag. This gym comes in at around $15-$30/month depending on what level of membership you need.
It's a world above the likes of Planet Fitness in that it is actually designed by someone that doesn't intend on blinding everyone with the tacky color scheme. Oh, and they also have power cages but you won't see any plate loaded machines.
There is no dedicated parking, but you'll find parking on 78th most days and there's a parking garage a block south of you prefer that.
I lost 60 pounds in one year from the Jackson Heights location ... Employees are all nice and polite . Never ever had any problem here ! Nice and clean always ....
Can't even walk without having to worry about tripping on something, equipment's all over the place. Hire strong people to get the job done instead of just for-show "bodybuilders." Total shitshow.
Needed 75 lbs dbells, but none at the rack because they're scattered around the gym, while floor staff just hangs out at the front. What a mess, sticking to the city facilities only.
Great location. And only location in Jackson Heights. It suffers from its price point - At the $20/month price point, it is affordable for teens (and their girl/boyfriend) as well as for seniors living on a budget. And, theoretically, that is a good thing. It is clean, and I appreciate that, but it is dangerously overcrowded almost all the time. It is common for four people to be waiting for a machine. I wonder if getting rid of the useless free guest rule would lighten the load a bit. And absolutely no one on staff seems above the age of 25. Which is, well, problematic. They are friendly, but not consistently. It is as if sometimes they are having such a good time amongst themselves that they don't see the messy free weight areas, the bags scattered across the floor, or clients enter or exit.
It's convenient, as I mentioned above, and doesn't get too dirty, but anyone who gives this gym above 3 stars must have very, very limited gym experience in this city.
I have been a member for over a year when they first open it used to get very very Crowded now that the new corona location is open is much better. They have plenty of equipment and you can't beat a twenty dollars monthly membership over all a great deal.
Hate it, always full people go to this gym just to flirt and show the ass strut you got skinny ass people hogging the machines and weights horrible I went to a other location much much better
I went to this blink for the first time, and one of the staff members got physical with me on the men's locker room. I was finishing up with my stuff in the locker room about to leave in about 10 seconds when the blink staff member came in (I guess his locker was next to mine) and said excuse me and didn't wait for me to move out of his way then proceeded to push me with his elbow. This is after I verbally told him to give me a few seconds and I'll be out of your way. Little did I know he didn't even listen to me because he had his headphones on. As I left he yelled "you got a problem. I immediately spoke to a manager and wrote a formal report. I suspect nothing happened to this individual even after admittedly saying that he pushed me with his elbow inside the locker room. I haven't been back since. I don't advise anybody to go to this blink, it's a waste of time and some staff members are rude!
I regret signing for a membership here. This place is horrible. Always crowded. People go with their whole group of 5 friends and take the machines all night long, the trainers don't even bother about it. Equipment is often out of service. I also payed for a personal trainer, every training was like $50-70 and lasts 30 mins and the trainer makes you stretch for 10 mins even though you already stretched... The only good thing about this place is that it's clean. And that's it.
Only 5 stair masters and only 3 or 4 are ever working at one time. They're always out of order. Long waiting time to use one. Meanwhile there are a ridiculous amount of elliptical machines not being used at all times.
Logic would say, remove some elliptical machines and replace with more stair masters. I have requested this several times in 6 months. No results. This is why the 2-star rating. Management doesn't seem to care about customer needs. It should be pretty obvious to Bring in more stair masters.
Otherwise the gym is not very clean but
Some staff members are very nice people.
