This gym really got me out of a "can't do it" slump. Before going to Force and more specifically, the FitCamp classes, I never thought in a million years I could attempt to survive a CrossFit style class. But the owner, Mike, and Coaches Lauren and Steve have given me so much individual attention and so much more confidence in myself and my abilities as an athlete. I am so grateful for their guidance and care and for pushing me to be my most healthy self. I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!

Excellent local gym, everyone is very friendly and they have many machines and free weights plus classes for crossfit, bicycles. They also sell shakes, drinks and food.

They offer a 7 day trial, which is nice to get a feel for the gym. Their annual contract is $20/month. However, their cost without a contract is $70/month, which is a steep jump for someone that just needs a gym for a month. Also I would like to see more cleaning stations, and without electronic paper dispensers.

the only thing they know how to do is to keep charging ur credit card even if u cancel months b4, they be like "ohh thats what our policy says" BS i know many ppl who were f....d over like this in this place n they want 50 bucks a month for a small filthy place pffff... thats y me n almost whole rigdewood switched to retro its less than half of what theyre charging n theres no bs, big clean place i highly recommend

One of the best gyms in the area. No swimming pool or spa facilities. Great equipment, plenty of floor space (surprisingly large), good hours, and affordable rates. Only a couple years old, so the equipment is still in good condition. The owners installed good equipment right off the bat (dumbbells with thick handles, Hammer Strength machines, an enclosed powerlifting rack, bumper plates, etc etc). Everything you need for weight training or aerobics. The clientele is pretty good. Nothing fancy, just a well-equipped, no-nonsense gym.

With my limited experience with health clubs, I have been member of maybe 6 of them, this place immediately impressed me because it is large, clean and friendly and they have great hours.
I work the elliptical but they have every imaginable machine (and lots of them) and weight lifting equipment and separate rooms for the range of classes they offer. The locker room is spacious and clean.
I am giving this a 5 rating because it places at the top of the range when I compare it to the other facilities I have known and having the amenities in top shape.

EXCELLENT gym with 5 star service! Great owners and members make this a great place to work out. Knowledgeable staff who want to make a difference sets this gym apart from others in the area. Possibly the best gym I've been in, in NYC.
