The amount of machines and weights they have is pretty amazing, but a lot of them are broken out of date or extremely dirty. the bathroom honestly is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen besides the beach bathrooms in Coney Island in the 80s and 90s. I was highly considering doing 3 month membership here until I stepped into that bathroom I couldn't bare the smell and grime.I'm thankful I only did a one week trial.

I have been to many gyms, and this one is a great old school feel gym. The prices are great, and the place is huge with lots of equipment.

It served its purpose. I was only in town for one day and needed somewhere to workout, preferably close to entertainment. But outside of having weights... This place is terrible. Everything is dirty, it smells like rats, the bathroom is atrocious... Upon entering you instantly smell must, balls and feet.

The absolute worst customer service!! The guy at front desk is ignorant and lack commen sense! The place is total bacteria infection especially the bathrooms, you can smell the from the front!

Gym stinks like dead mice. Yoga room mats are disgusting, dirty. Bathrooms stink. The only room that's decent is the sauna. The showers are really nasty with hair everywhere. The steam room is atrocious, all tiles are cracked or fell off. Cardio area has dust an inch thick all over the lights. But there is lots of room and enough machines to workout on

Service sucks ,,, completely disappointed on first day. Very dirty place and no one in the counter when I was going to buy the drinks and vender machine is not taking bills.

Wow!!!! Worst experience ever slack customer service I came all the way from Texas I'm on the process of moving to New York Queens and the guy who was on the front desk saw my ID from Texas he laughed and said !!you cannot use that here!!without explanation, I asked why and he said you need to talk to my supervisor Clarissa no wonder this gym is only $14 99 a month. I only give one star because I have ultimate fitness desert no star. I don't get it looks like owner don't care who is running the business. LA fitness same price and great gym and customer service. Feel sorry for for BQE gym.

Been going here for years. It's definitely not Equinox... but then again I would never go to a gym like that anyway. I like my gym a little gritty and unpolished like this gym is. I like the atmosphere in that nobody is there just to socialize. Just go put in work and leave. There's no annoying snobby people complaining, no kids running around, no nonsense. The staff is incredible. Just as they should be. Available if you need something, but not in your face. No pushy sales people trying to sell personal training and they're not annoyingly overly friendly like at other gyms. I like that the free weights are completely separate from cardio. Yea, sometimes the machines don't work, sometimes the jerk before you didn't clean the bench, it can be crowded at times, and I've honestly never once seen the dumbells organized by weight. But that's every gym. If you're looking for a no frills gym with adequate space and equipment for a reasonable price that you can drop a weight without an offended millenial or soccer mom complaining... this is the gym for you. And yea it smells sometimes. It's a damn gym.

They charge A dollar for a stained small towel. Parking was good but did not feel at all a clean gym. Things were falling apart, which it is what is is. But it felt dirty to me. The bathroom had rugs that were soaked from the shower. That sounds like a bacteria/infection just waiting to happen!!!

Have been a member for roughly 3-4 years, excellent space and the free parking comes in handy. Recently I have notice a lot of broken machines and no upgrades within the last couple of years. I have also noticed a lack of cleanliness especially around the water fountain. It's got to the point were I'm reconsidering switching to a new gym, hopefully improvements are made for 2017.

Gym is ok if you really in to workout but lots of equipment need maintenance . just like other people's Described gym need lots of Maintenance specially in shower room. Mostly people come here for steam and suna parking is Convenient but Steam being not working from long time. Suna room is dirty also. I try to call the cleaning guy he was very rude.

It's a great gym with a great vibe, great space and plenty of machines. Good parking and amazing food. Bathrooms are not very clean but I would blame the members for that the staff is great.

Went to this gym for over 7 years, very unprofessional. My car got hit here in the parking lot, owner didn't want to release surveillance footage, there are a lot of wanna-be thugs that also go here that sell drugs behind the scenes, considering there are two strip clubs within a 5 mile radius its no surprise. But back to the gym, the equipment is old, only good thing was its size to price to hours ratio, the price increased and the hours reduced(no longer 24/7). Lastly, the basketball court isnt regulation size, its actually uneven, measurements are wrong, its not maintained properly as the machines and i have seen countless injuries, YES injuries, from the A/C leaking in the basketball courts.
