Great Gym , Clean and the customer service is very good with the experience i had. Just wish the hours was a bit longer but beggars cant be choosers. Take a chance and take a tour its great.

Decent gym in the Bronx. Front desk staff was very nice and attentive. The equipment was good with no broken machines and was maneuverable.

Great gym. The customers are running the gym in to the ground.

Weights left everywhere , destroying equipment. I dont attend daily only a few times out of there year now.

Love the gym but they need to start a buddy system where they let you bring a partner with you. Besides that great staff and clean gym always.

Machines look dirty, no tissue to clean the machines, have to wait to use certain machines, men love to stare, the dark room stinks, and you have to pay a cancellation fee which is ridiculous. This is the closes gym to my house, and it is so dissapointing !

Very close to where I leave. The facility is clean and the environment is great, plus a nice bar where you can get smoothies

I've been a member since the gym opened up about 4 years ago. They're open until 12am. I prefer to go in the evening after 9 when is practically empty. They also have a smoothie bar and a wide variety of fitness drinks and snacks. Parking is also free.

Good for working out but some of the staff on work days are so busy having there own conversations, they don't even acknowledge or wrlcome you. You must have your key out the don't even look at you they just scan and you go. CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME!!

They have a variety of machines. It doesn't get as busy as other gyms. They also have a smoothie bar which has very tasty smooties which can help if you want some protien or muscle recovery. They also have a dark room with many elliptical machines which also has a movie playing. They also hold zumba classes which from what I've heard are really good and keep your heart pumping. The only thing is some men tend to stare a little to longer then needed but besides that its a pretty good gym.

Another reviewer made a question on the leg curl machine needing to fixed 7 months ago, well I started coming to this location 3 months ago where I noticed the machine was being held together literally with TAPE. As of a couple weeks ago it completely fell apart and the piece is still lying on the floor...untouched. I've yet to see the workout room available for individual use (what are we paying for? Partial access?) I never see the staff come out from behind the bar to wipe down the machines or place weights/equipment back in place, everything is always scattered or missing. I get we're in the bronx, people will put up with almost any type of disregard here but come on. You guys have to at least TRY to keep your current customers.

I had a horrible experience this morning at the gym. Women are not safe at this gym. I went to use the cable machine for my back development and this Hispanic man approached me stating he was using the machine. Keep in mind he was nowhere near the machine so I continued with my work out then he had the nerve to approach me again and he said I was rude and I told him to leave me alone twice and he did. My intentions was to call the police because of his manner and he was getting a bit animated. I notice the old guy "whispering in his ear something , you could tell right off the old guy has a problem with women . Ive seen him (old guy)several times at the cable machines and he has a cold affect and it's unnerving. I continued with my work out. If you walk away from the machine then others can use it . If I'm wrong please educate me and recognize I will call the police if I feel threatened. Please note: The gym is great in terms of staff and equipment but some of us are simply there to work out without the drama.

Excellent staff they are very helpful and polite and they have a good selection of workout equipment. They also have parking love it.

The mans that go to this gym have no respect for woman..my mom go here and get derespected by men and make her uncomfortable I feel so bad for my mom. she come home sad and she can't accomplish her goals but she do her goals and I'm proud of her. this gym have bad management, and the worker should be more perfesional and not allow men to disrepect women at the gym. #bettermanagement

I work out there daily, by far better then planet fitness and any other gym in the bronx. Staff's who work there are amazing. They are always walking around.. staffs always making sure machines are sanitized Ive seen alot of improvements since I've started coming. Smoothie Bar makers make very good shakes an are very friendly. Child care takes great care of my daughter while im working out, & cleanliness at retro fitness is also amazing due to the professional maintenance staffs who work there. The gym is comfortable and welcoming... i love Retro Fitness and will continue to be a member!!! My #1 Gym.

This gym has approved so much! Machines are being fixed! The club is very clean and smells great once you walk in. The staff is amazing! They make you feel at home! By far the best gym located in the Bronx! I love Retro Fitness!

Please if you not want lose you money never come to this place ...1- l pay for cancel my account for me and son and they never cancel
Every month this place get money from my credit card . 2- never give to this place you credit card because if you live they continue take money from you card . l call the bank to they can give me another card number. 3 - this is the 3 month and l not come to the gym and they still take money from my card . l go to the. This place and l try to talk with a supervisor but every time you need to wait because is not body who can help ...trust me here you not only lose you money you lose you time and for me this is the most bad experience l have .

I've been to several gyms, Bally's, Planet Fitness and this is the best one yet. Been a member since 2015 and I love it... Better equipment, and the classes are a +. The staff is GREAT and very friendly. ..

Besides people trying to butt into your workout, the gym is fairly nice and the smoothies are bomb.

Great Experience, I'm used to Bodybuilders gyms, and triple digits dumbells, this GYM offers up to 150s , also has free weight squat rack, the bench area gets crowded ((every body is a Johnny bravo)) lol, plenty cardio machines and a cardio theater!
