I had a huge ab cramp while I was doing ab workout. I asked for help. Staff members Kevin, Jason, and Dante helped me to recover. They were very helpful. They were making sure I was OK and recover soon as possible. I want to say thank you so much for wonderful service. This is why I love Blink Fitness. Great gym with Awesome staff members. :)

The nicest Blink I've been to is here in Astoria. Almost everyone here is chilled and accommodating. If they're in the way, they move. Not that many people are those, muscle heads who have to show off to everyone else, like in the other Blinks I've been to. My first day in another one, I almost got into a fight, but here, I don't feel so self conscious.

One thing I honestly believe should be BANNED at all crowded gyms, is SITTING ON THE MACHINES AND TEXTING! Seriously, get off the machine if you're gonna text, take up space and waste other peoples time.

We get that you want people to know you're working out for the first and last time, but, do that on your own time and in your own space.

This Blink get extremely packed after 5-6pm. Good luck trying to get a cardio machine at these hours. This blink compare to other is pretty small. They have limited bench press and squat rack. This gym is not bad but because it gets extremely packed it makes everything limited to use or do; Making it a wack experience.

I opened up an account for my father but he never used it . I tried to close the account and was told I had have had to pay 92.00. The manager Chris or Cristina , Romero Hispanic young woman , not sure if that was her correct name has the etiquette of a borderline idiot and the customer service skills of a third grader . Actually a third grader would have more of common courtesy . With that type of attitude she should be managing a playpen and not a gym. I am very disappointed at the customer service provided to me at this particular blink. Do not do the blue membership , stick to basics , because they are cancelation feeds that are not upfront .

I took personal training (with Kevin) for a period of a month and I am very happy with the workouts which took into account my level of fitness and age and of course with the results - I feel stronger and I've lost 7 pounds!

Staff is more than helpful when it comes to signing up and are always there to help with anything. Overall great place for it's price. My only issue is that it's mainly cardio equipment at least more than half of the place is cardio. So if you're a weight lifter, the place is good when it's slow like at 8am for me. It gets annoying after a while when it's mad busy to wait for the one bench press for like 20 minutes.

Los gimnasios BLINK me encantan por su limpieza, espacio y buenas máquinas. Te recomiendo que si quieres tener un buen entrenamiento y no perder mucho tiempo entre ejercicio y ejercicio a causa de mucho flujo de personas; vayas en horas en la mañana muuuuy temprano. Para mi este gym (Steinway) es uno de los mejores por su gente y buen funcionamiento.

Gym a bit crowded and people are very smelly (at other gyms the smell was ok), but it's a good gym. Way better than NYSC.

Clean gym.. good equipment.. always clean.. super friendly staff.. budget friendly only $20 a month and you can go to any gym in nyc excluding Manhattan(manhattan is i think $25 a month, still super affordable., and you can bring a partner / someone else every time .. overall a good gym for a cheap price.. obviously no saunas or pools or anything but good equipment for weight training and cardio

Best gym at their price point hands down. The onlt real bummer about this location is after 5 or 6 on the weekdays it's jam packed like sardines in a can. If you go at that time be ready to say lots of escuse me's.

Poor customer service and a lot of hidden fees!!!

Gym as gym is quite decent but I was tricked to take yearly subscription even though I specifically asked for monthly since I knew I will move soon. At the end I had to pay 60$ fee for early cancellation. Both gym manager and customer service were completely uninterested to resolve situation in a way that wpuld be acceptable to both sides.

Hello!
I think management team of Blink should know that there is a theft in one of your clubs (at least)! I go to Blink in Astoria, Steinway.
I came to the gym wearing my winter shoes then inside I changed it to the sport shoes. I left my street shoes on the floor and didn't move it to a locker in women's locker room because they were wet and dirty.
After my workout I went to the shower and left my sport shoes on the floor of women's fleeting room. When I came back from the shower I unfortunately found that both pairs of shoes was stolen! And I even didn't have another shoes to go to the street... I live in 25 minutes walk from Blink and the weather was 17F. Staff told me they can take a look at camera recordings but it is nearly impossible to find and identify the thief.
I am really disappointed about this accident and I totally couldn't recommend this gym to my friends. I hope management of the gym will see my message and take some actions!

The trainer are amazing! And the staffs are very friendly too. And so far, the location is clean and no creeps.

Very friendly staff, and a really clean gym. In terms of training, though, Steinway's Blink Fitness is terrible. Most, if not all trainers I've ever worked for, eventually left for "better jobs." Blink does not hire trainers that are serious or passionate about health and fitness, clearly. As a child, I went to a gym in Brooklyn. 15 years later, today, ALL trainers that were there when I was a child are still there. Blink may have cheap rates for trainers, but as the saying goes... you get what you pay for. As gym itself, though, Blink on Steinway is the best one in Queens hands down. I absolutely love it. Clean, not overly crowded, upbeat and helpful staff.

Best blink that I been in queens. Clean not over crowded. I drive all the way from Jamaica to Astoria because atmosphere is great staff people are very friendly and well educated.

I wish I could write a more positive review (because there are some positive points), but overall Blink is a frustrating and disappointing experience for anyone who is serious about exercise.

The pros are that it is quite cheap, and it has an excellent guest policy.

The single huge con is that it is almost unusable for serious exercise. It has row upon row of cardio machines, which I've never seen more than lightly used even at peak hours. It has ONE of most key items for weightlifting. Needless to say, even at off-peak hours there is nearly always a lengthy wait for every single piece of equipment. It's frustrating and demoralizing, and makes clear that Blink gives no thought at all to anyone who is serious about weightlifting.

A few examples: ONE bench press. ONE neutral grip cable row handle. ONE angled leg press. ONE pair of bumper plates for 45, 35, 25, 10, etc. ONE pair of 5-lb plates in the whole gym. ONE pair of barbell clamps. This is for a huge gym that has dozens of customers at off-peak hours and potentially hundreds at peak. It's just a total joke.

I was lied to by a service rep who assured me the plan I was getting was 'zero commitment." I told him that I was only going to be in the city for one month before my next contract started and he said there would be no problems.

Fast forward a month and I'm told for the first time that cancellations require 45 days of notice. The manager, Johnnie Rios, deflected and avoided outright answering because he wasn't accountable for the people he managed.

Terrible customer service. Deceitful practice. I'll be getting a membership at Brooklyn Boulders when I return to the city.
