Awesome welcoming environment. Great teachers, great space, great variety of classes.
Options of classes as welcoming to our practicing yoga. This place is really about building community and one can feel it with the welcoming staff and the caring instructors. The only feedback I have is that I wish they could enforce the no shoe policy in the studio more. So many times people walk in with their shoes and grab blankets and blocks across the room while many are getting ready for class.
MANY GOOD TRAINERS AND FRIENDLY MEMBERS THE STUDIO IS ALWAYS VERY CLEAN AND SPACIOUS.
daya yoga is truly a unique space that is completely authentic. the staff really care about the students, the space, and the classes. and it shows. it's honestly so much more than a yoga studio, it's a community. with such a wide variety of classes and workshops, there is something for everyone, but always an opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone!
in my seven years of practice, i've never felt such a special connection to a yoga community. from my very first day of class, I never wanted to leave.
I have been attending for 1 month at this studio and its been an amazing experience. The teachers are

My friend has been going here for almost a year and is really loving it. I was in NY just for a few days and was invited to tag along. Dropped in on the dynamic flow class with Kevin. I'm almost six months pregnant and was anticipating not to be able to do much, but the class was extremely welcoming and Kevin repeatedly adapted poses for me. There is a lovely community feel with chants and breathing exercises beforehand which felt very grounding. Drop-in fees plus mat were $20, but first-time student monthly unlimited pass was only $40. Had I stayed a bit longer I probably wouldve taken that deal and come back a few more times. Lovely studio alltogether.

I found Daya two years ago and it was like coming home. Two expansive rooms -- one filled with light and plants, the other cosy and deep like a cave -- both with amazing acoustics and such beautiful energy! I especially love their Kundalini classes and the variety workshops every weekend! Definitely recommend stopping by for a class, you won't want to leave ;)

Great studio, have been going for years and now doing work-study. My favorite in the neighborhood!
I adore the community classes, best in bushwick
Mostly liked this studio, but the Saturday kundalini instructor Zoob used his cellphone for the entire class while everyone else was chanting. It left a bad taste in my mouth.
Studio is big and clean, good balance of classes, and good price otherwise.
Amazing community environment. There are lots of classes offered at lots of times. You can find what you need in a yoga studio here!
After completing my teacher training at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and moving to New York, I jumped into the New York Yoga scene and thought about giving up on teaching, on my practice, on Yoga. I had never experienced so much competition in Yoga, and frequently left classes feeling incompetent and defeated. I knew this wasn't the purpose of Yoga.
I entered Daya Yoga Studio a year and a half ago feeling intimated and nervous as I did most studios during that time. The wall I built up began to slowly deteriorate and all I could think was "I'm home".
I'm writing this review from behind the desk at Daya, where I now manage the studio. And it's not just the aesthetic of the studio, the assortment of teachers, or the styles of yoga provided that makes this place a home and a sanctuary for so many. It's that no matter where you are coming from, a 9-5 in the city, a tiny apartment, a dirty subway, you enter into the best version of yourself, and you begin to see the best version of everyone else around you, and eventually, Daya is everywhere you walk in the city, in the world. So the 9-5 is where you practice patience with yourself and your coworkers, the tiny apartment is where you practice conscious movement, and the dirty subway is where you practice love. Daya means compassion, and compassion is infinite and omnipresent. As Carlos says, "Infinite Love, Infinite Compassion, Infinite Daya".
Amazing space, peaceful vibes, passionate instructors, 2 rooms, classes 7 days a week and as early as 7am and plenty of late classes too! Everything about this place is magic!
Wonderful yoga studio. Gorgeous space with a huge variety of classes with excellent instructors. Class are mainly open level with some offering more advanced options. Don't be afraid if you have never done yoga before. Daya offers beginners yoga classes, restorative, and many other options perfect for first time yogis. Anya and Meghan (the owners) are such beautiful souls. You will feel like you are at home.
