Huge place, very clean kept. All the basics one can find here. Staff needs to be more welcoming .
24 hrs mon to fri only
Weekends 7 am - 9pm
Fresh towels and shower available.

Very good gym. Awsome service and all the personal trainers are very friendly and know what they are doing. I definetly Recommend you to try this gym out

A cheap gym with terrible equipment, scratchy towels, and salty staff. If you try and cancel your membership they will make you fill out paper work that wont get processed and you will be continually charged. Avoid at all costs

I almost don't want to tell people about my gym because I want it all to myself. I love that it's open 24 hours during the week (wish it was open 24 hours on weekends, too!) and it's got all the equipment I need. If you want a flashy gym, go somewhere else. If you want an inexpensive place to get a good workout, this is your place.

Just recently joined, new to Astoria and I love the neighborhood and gym is great! Only 3 blocks from my apartment, price is affordable as well.

BEWARE CANCELLATION POLICY!!!
The original cancellation policy that you sign a contract for stated you have to mail in a certified letter saying you are canceling your membership. It takes 30 days to "process" so they end up charging you an extra month. Ridiculous but fine. There is no other way to join the gym unless you agree to that.
However,
I signed the contract BECAUSE the staff signing you up says there is an in person cancellation process which is easier and you don't deal with the certified mail issue. What they don't mention is that IN PERSON cancellation ALSO REQUIRES 30 days which means they still charge you an extra month.
THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO CANCEL and therefore you are backed into that corner and have to pay for and extra month.
It's both deceitful and unfair. You would think that in person would be easier and faster but it's just as frustrating.
JOIN ANOTHER GYM. DONT DEAL WITH THEM.

Worst people to deal with. Charge you hidden fees, you cannot cancel over the phone at this day and age. Threaten you with collections and stuff. Stay away!!!!!

I've been going to this gym for a year now. My initial response would have been that it was just another gym but, after I have gone for a year I had realized how convenient this gym is considering that it is open for 24 hours. I come to the gym at 1-2 am and i feel like the gym belongs to me because no one is there. I LOVE IT! They have some really high quality equipment in my opinion. I don't know about the daytime but the nights are awesome.
There is nothing else that I can except that if you don't believe me you can see for yourself.
