This is the same crossfit bell I always go to with much more spacious location. That to say, all the equipment there are brand new!! I've been a member of crossfit bell since May 2016 and so far this is the best crossfit box I've been to.
After 7 months rehabilitation from hip injury due to horrible crossfit programs in another box, I become very picky and more aware when it comes to good or bad program. I gave another crossfit attempt in crossfit bell and I joined immediately. That's how convincing the program is.
Ant's crossfit program is a top notch and designed with a purpose. After 2 weeks joining his classes, I hit +10# PR for my back squat, which was the main culprit for my hip injury. That was an amazing progress considering I just got back from injury and had been hitting the same # for few months before the injury. He incorporates powerlifting/weightlifting program to his crossfit cycle to help us getting stronger consistently. By consistent, you can actually feel the result and see the difference in your body by end of the cycle. It is because how great his programming is. My overall strength and gains increase a lot with no injury at all. So far, I haven't experience the workout with the same targeted muscle back-to-back.
Anthony's explanations are very thorough and details. There are many movements that I couldn't do before joining crossfit bell, such as handstand hold/pushup, rope climbing, etc. I managed to learn how within few classes. He encourages his athlete to always give a shot or scales when needed.
Other coaches in bell are equally amazing. Coach Andy for morning class has great way to create a community for each member to know each other. He coached me how to run efficiently, especially because I hate running so much. Coach Tommy is also very helpful for pointing out my mistakes. He took his time carefully observing what went wrong with my lift and technique.
In my experience, there are some coaches out there who will degrade your ability to do certain movement, and keep shouting and yelling at you when you are making mistakes. Some of them will even laugh and make fun of your improper technique. Coaches in crossfit bell are definitely not the case. They will guide you step-by-step and you can always give a shot with their assistance. I am a slow learner when it comes to technique. All of the coaches in bell are very patient, when it comes to coaching. In addition, the coaches in bell will modify the workout if you have injury or tightness/soreness, but you will definitely experience the same intensity.
So far, crossfit bell is the only box that offers powerlifting under the same membership, which is another reason why I joined bell.
I am extremely picky for things that do not meet my standard. For me, I rather have amazing community and coaches than beautifully decorated gym with full of douche. I am extremely satisfied with overall program, community and coaches!! If you want to experience amazing program and community, who actually treat you like a friend and part of crossfit family, you definitely need to try Crossfit Bell.
