Beautiful ethos and big hearts at this yoga studio :)
I am visiting from out of town, so I purchased the one week pass and it has been wonderful. I have gone to the Nostrand studio and it is such a lovely place to do yoga. Teachers have been wonderful and very welcoming to this first time visitor to Brooklyn.
A wonderful experience. My instructor was patient, kind, and informative. My first time there felt very welcoming.

I was charged $25 penalty for a trial class. Policy says that missing a trial class results in forfeiture of fees paid with no other penalty. Class was at 1:30pm. I texted the contact number in the morning.
A gorgeous studio - I had a class with the lovely Deanna this morning and her teaching style along with wonderful music selection was absolutely what I needed. One of my fave ever yoga classes in 4+ years of practising. Gorgeous spot, thank you.
The Village Shop is amazing because it represents Brooklyn. Everything in the shop is local, most of it hand made. In the back is a yoga studio that has a wide variety of classes from aerial to vinyasa to ashtanga to sculpt. Each class is small and intimate. The vibe of Bed-Stuy is exactly what you'll find here every time.
My class was smal and the teacher was warm. I would attend another class.
