This place is awesome. My friend recommended it and it was amazing. very clean and organized. And the staff there are so kind. This is one of the best rock climbing places I've ever been to.Its very modern too. I would highly recommend this place especially for there youth programs.

Incredible climbing facility. Friendly staff and welcoming community! Great for beginners and experienced climbers alike!

A climbing gym with pingpong tables, a lounge/study area, lockers (locks not provided), and hand-washing stations. This gym has got it all. The climbing routes are regularly updated so there is no shortage of challenges! The only downside is that the day passes are pretty expensive (~$35).

I been to here for the first time last weekend. It was really good experience. There a lots of different levels which you have to have technique to reach the top. I personally its third time of bouldering and I am really happy that I got one V3, V4 in the end of the day that day. I definitely go more and more. It is really good place to go hang out with your friends even if you are beginners you still can enjoy.

Great climbing gym. For $35, a day pass is pretty pricey but the sheer number of routes makes it worth it. Never top roped here so I can't comment on that, but the bouldering problems are always lots of fun. I love the array of features - cave problems, slab, traverse, arete - as well as the variety and quality in the problems themselves that cater to a wide range of bouldering strengths and styles. Got a discounted 10 pack of day passes from their Black Friday sale and I also use ClassPass credits, which make the visits a lot more affordable.

The gym is completely mismanaged.  Apart from a great root setting, and a nice community it has nothing to show for.  Something is broken all the time.  Profit margins are the only thing the management cares about.  The climbing-specific training leaves much to be desired.  They don't even half-decent pull up bars.  Historically, this gym had an outstanding staff.  It is going downhill as well.  The staff attrition rate makes me believe that people are not treated well.  The competency of the latest addition to the staff is significantly lower than it used to be.  If you are serious about climbing, especially route climbing, consider the Cliffs instead

Fun place for everybody. Helpful staff, kind people, spent most the day, and there was still things that we couldn't do. Practically a full gym downstairs, with sauna in each locker room. Can't wait to go again, not enough auto belays, but they make up for it in the selection of bouldering walls.

Great accommodating staff. Amazing space. And super fun

Great bouldering, lots of space to spread out and different walls to try out. Top rope routes are fun too, not the tallest walls around but good to shake it up from bouldering once in a while.

This place is GREAT! Once you pay and check in, you're allowed to leave and come back for the day as you please- which is AWESOME! Since it had been quite some time since we last climbed, we took a class. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Although they have auto-belays and top roping, this is gym is definitely more for the bouldering type. The bathrooms have showers with soap and lotion and even include a sauna. You can rent shoes, chalk, and a harness for about $12. I loved it here.

It's got a sauna. Nice bouldering. Less top rope than cliffs. Workout area is usually in use. Less tainted by bad ownership decisions than bkb og.

Fun rock climbing spot! The staff is really knowledgeable and pleasant. It was our first time at this location, so they did a quick tour and orientation which was helpful. The space is very large with many rooms and they have everything from beginner problems to the very challenging. They also have work spaces and a gym.

The team is highly engaging and values clients. Great facility and very clean! The problems work on a leveling system which makes the experience equally fun as it is challenging

Higly recommended. Very professional, accommodating staff. Had a great time. Will definitely go back.

Awesome place to go rock climbing in Queens. The place has many options and levels for all climbers. They also have a gym downstairs and a ping pong table in the back. They have four automatic belay systems if you want to go by yourself. They are reasonably priced especially if you can go on a weekday.

Great place to Boulder in the city. Top roping is a but limited, but lots or boukding walls. Everyone is very friendly and, importantly, the walls are changed regularly.

Sound insulated quiet room with wifi, outlets and big table surfaces? I couldn't afford a gym membership if it weren't for the fact I also gained such a nice work space.

Great climbing gym with an emphasis on bouldering. Good selection of rotating problems. Not too crowded by New York standards. Clean locker rooms. Conveniently located near a number of subway stops.

They don't clean their bathrooms here!! It looks like fungus on the shower floors, there's stuff all over the wall, and a nasty film on things....

Good rock climbing and great exercise. The problems are not too newbie friendly, but still worth a go. However this location has dirty bathrooms and disgusting showers they feel like two separate companies. The staff is ehh and the weight lifting area good.

Check-in process was quick and smooth. Staff at the front desk were ultra-friendly and professional. I had a lot of questions about the Rope class and summer camps for my kids; got answers to all and also a follow up email with additional information as discussed. Really appreciate their effort of making things easy for me. When I tried to book the Belay lessons, Logan went out of her way to help me solve logistics issues which made it possible for me to take the lesson. I'll definitely bring my kids back on regular basis once I learn how to belay! Overall a very impressive experience as a customer.

Really cool climbing gym with chill NYC vibes. The main floor has a pretty decent sized bouldering area with the middle of the area being used for roped climbing.there is also a ping pong table!the lower floor has a really cool fitness area with treadmills and even a yoga room and sauna!this place is truly nice.

I loved all of it! Very challenging. I would have liked a few more 1 level options on the Boulders but hopefully I will continue improving. I loved that there was a great workout space--I enjoyed that. Everyone was very informative and helpful. I loved watching the experienced climbers--was able to learn alot just from watching. Great experience! Thank you!

What a great location! Perfect place to have a rock climbing gym and hangout spot! Parking is very easy in the area so I think it's super convenient if you drive. There are plenty of bouldering walls and rock climbing walls. The space is large and set up well so it's not overly crowded at any moment. I still think the Brooklyn location feels larger and has better bouldering walls.

If you're interested in getting into rock climbing, this is the place to go in the city. Great facility with plenty of space for both bouldering and top roping, well maintained, plus a constant rotation of problems and routes to try out so it doesn't get old.

But the key that sets this place above the rest is the staff who work tirelessly to foster a climbing community that is safe and supportive allowing each climber to feel as though they are advancing at the appropriate level and pace. It's why I keep coming back!

Hope to see you on the wall!

Clean and roomy facilities, friendly staff, great community, and a large number of fun routes. I came a to try it out and ended up getting a membership. Fun spot to bring friends!

Brooklyn Boulders was a great experience for the holiday. Had the chance to climb and hang with a community of cool people with good vibes.

Brooklyn Boulders QB has a wide range of amenities with a modern facility. Recommend this place for date night, friends or people who want to get into rock climbing.

A great climbing gym with new, safe equipment & self belay for those that aren't certified or climbing alone. Went on a Sunday and was surprised that it wasn't crowded and walked up to every route without having to wait. They offer lots of other services like a work out room with weights & cardio, yoga studio, fitness classes, wifi & several work spaces. While those are nice amenities, I'm unlikely to use them. I wish they priced their day passes for those just wanting to climb versus those that want a full service gym + work space - it's a bit pricey for a few hours of climbing.

October 18, 2017 15:17

One of the coolest climbing gym in the city. It can get pretty crowded at times (especially 7-9pm) so either expect to wait or get there before/after the busy hours to beat the crowd.

October 18, 2017 15:17

Plenty of climbing challenges for most skill levels as long as you're somewhat athletic. Many routes are designed to practice specific skills. Will be back for more.
