The best studio in Harlem. A lovely place filled with natural light; great teachers from different styles of yoga. Clean, friendly and very accesible prices. The only thing missing in the classes is to include guided pranayama and meditation practice.

I am absolutely in love with this studio. I just moved to Harlem after living in Brooklyn for 10 years and I feel like I've found my local yoga home. I usually practice downtown at Jivamukti or the Shala, so I'm used to strong Ashtanga-based flows. Brahman gives me just what I need uptown. I still can't believe that such an awesome studio is a 5-minute walk from my apartment! This certainly beats the 30+ minute commute it used to take me to get to an awesome studio from my apartment in Brooklyn (and for half the price). This place is seriously amazing.

Amazing studio with fantastic instructors (especially Kelly). Everything is very clean, plenty of space, and they take the time to create a tranquil atmosphere. Went to my first class their three years and stayed bc of how great everything is. Open level classes are great for those just getting started or those more advance are given options to scale up. I invite you to try it out yourself.

The fastest-paced yoga I have ever done. The space is open and lovely, but as a warning, no air conditioning, so it's rather warm in the summer. Our teacher was an incredibly talented yoga practitioner, but quite a bit of the class was rapidly switching poses and you are left to figure it out more or less on your own. Also, someone put on my shoes and left with them, so I had to go home in shoes a size too small that did not belong to me, which soured my experience.

The class was good and challenging. It is a lovely space and only $8 for class, and convenient to the 1, A,, B, C, D trains. Suc a wonderful treat for Hamilton Heights.

I am so fortunate to have this studio right around the corner from where I live. Not only is it a beautiful place for your practice, its bright and spacious with complimentary blocks, straps, towels and blankets. The donation classes are also a big plus for me!

Clean, affordable studio...most instructors are knowledgeable and pleasant; however, I must agree with the previous review regarding the inappropriate music in the background. It only happened to me once and it was a struggle to focus on maintaining postures while listening to loud pop/r&b or whatever it was...she should teach an aerobics class instead.

Great space, community. The simple, uncluttered, and humble vibration makes breathing a little easier.

Lovely studio, great instructors and very, very reasonably priced. I would have kept it a secret but that's not the yogi way!

So honestly the studio is a nice upstairs studio. Clean and full of windows. Just be careful of what teacher you may get. I am fully aware that by being a musician I am very sensitive to energy evokes by sound and music. I will never be able to relax with alternative rock with a heavy beat and fast rhythms playing softly or loud when trying to relax and do yoga or meditate. After having done yoga in Costa Rica and beautiful studios in Seattle and other places in New York, the vibe with this teacher and her music selection was nothing relaxing. It was more stressful than relaxing. There is true science about connections of sound, spirit, health and healing so when the balance does not meet each other, it works against each other. The experience was disconnecting and I never knew alternative rock could be played during a yoga class. It's counter productive

Knowledgeable teachers. Beautiful studio. Don't arrive late and take your shoes off before entering (basic yoga studio rules). Teachers here will help each individual in their practice so no worries. I'm grateful for this studio!
