The staff is pleasant the gym is usually clean And the equipment is always up and running and if it's down it's not down for long . And You get what you pay for. And you can get a Nice pump if you know what your doing. And if you don't There's always helpful trainers standing around waiting to assist you

I love my gym blink. It gets crowded at certain times but seems to be clean.

This is a great gym for the price. All of the machines are much more updated that NYSC.

I've been coming to this Blink for over 2 years and the staff has been some of the nicest people I can interact with. Morning, afternoon and night. There seems to be a real community feel amongst them and they've so been encouraging along my fitness journey. The facilities are always clean and the machines are always working. Mornings seem like the best time to go as nights and evenings get pretty crowded.

The greatest and happiest gym I've ever been to in my life. Super friendly staff that do a great job of engaging their customers and keeping the place clean. It must rub off on the gym goers, bc they are nice too. It has all the equipment you could need for fairly serious lifting, but there are no d bags. Excellent price too (15/month w no contract)

Place can get super crowded really fast, not bad.. Only downside are people constantly on their phones just sitting there on machines or bench, and when you ask them to jump in to work with them or are they finish they tell you they have five sets SMH after they've been doing nothing for the past fifteen minutes

If you're in Harlem this is the best gym . Great equipment and atmosphere. Everyone who comes there comes to work and the staff is there to assist.

The men's bathroom sink has been broken for 4 months since I started here. Bathroom is almost always In bad condition. The gym itself is good

They are still charging me for my membership 2 years after canceling. I have canceled in person, via phone, and via mail. Nothing. Probably going to have to take them to court if I ever want to see my money again.

This is by far the best Blink gym I've been to--based on what can be expected in NYC at this price point.

Management: I was bit put off by the manager at first. He's a bit annoying and wayyy too strict. I've also heard being rude to staff members. No Brueno. However, this is by far the most hardworking efficient friendly staff I've seen, so I can not give abadraitng if the end product is good. He just needs more balance--he can be a bit extra.

Staff: Amazing, friendly and REAL!!! Always willing to help.

Equipment: When I first started going to this location, there wasnt enough weightlifting equipment, however, they have made a valiant and successful effort to improve this! Equipment is usually functional, and they keep clips at the front desk to present them from being stolen.

Downers: the lockerroom is small and stinks at times, but that's to be expected since space is limited on 125th Street.

Came back this month after canceling my membership 3 years ago. They let me setup and pay for a new membership. So I'm thinking all is well.

Then they sprung some unexplained $78 balance on me. They said they would research it and get back to me. In that moment, i felt like it would work out.

Then they charged my card the $78 without making any attempt to contact me and explain this mysterious "balance".

I emailed them as soon as it happened and nobody has bothered to reply. Simple fix to have my bank reverse the charge and cancel the card. But I'm appalled by their complete lack of customer service and shady attempts to collect unexplained balances.

Be very careful when giving them your credit card.

By the way Blink, this review constitutes my official cancellation of my membership. I will not be sending you a letter or going into a location to do this. I expect you to care enough about your business's reputation to respond to the email I already sent and to monitor your online reviews to make sure your customers are happy. If that's not a priority for you, then following your rules is not a priority for me. I won't be doing business with you again without a drastic improvement in your customer service.

Only after i posted this review did a blink associate contact me about this supposed balance. They still didn't help me though. They clearly don't care at all about customer service. Beware of giving them your credit card.

The Gym is very well-maintained the staff are very helpful and professional(s).

Spinning classes are great. If you are planning to take spinning classes in the future and get a better result, I recommend Scott or Michelle they are AMAZING spinning instructor(s), motivating, fun and great music. Let the spin begins:)

This Blink is great! No frills like saunas or classes, but it's just right for the price. The staff is all incredibly friendly, so it's a joy to see them even at 7am. They take good care of the space so it is always clean and machines get repaired quickly. All the equipment I need for my workout is there plus a lot more. It's never been busy when I go (mornings, mostly). Finally, as a woman, I think it's worth mentioning that the overall feeling here is quite friendly and encouraging and I don't get intimidated here the way I have at other gyms.

I've been a member of Blink since August and I have their most expensive membership option (which isn't that expensive). While it's a good basic gym, I have to say that I am very unhappy that they don't offer options for members who do pay the highest rates for things such as freezing an account. I was out of the country for 2 months and couldn't physically get to a Blink, but there was no option to do a freeze. In addition to the water not working and almost all of the stairmasters broken, as well as other equipment, and supremely crowded conditions due to broken equipment it's almost enough for me to pay the termination fee and switch to another gym. Beware, you get what you pay for! With that being said, the staff is incredibly nice and the only reason why this gym gets 3 stars, just wish the facility was better.

I was told upon enrolling in a membership that I can cancel anytime. I moved to Latin America. Upon calling them to cancel my membership I was told to come in person to the gym. I responded that I am in Latin America and that is not possible. There are now requiring me to end my subscription by Post Mail services where the cancellation will only begin once they receive the letter. This is a major inconvenience and a devious way to force customers to maintain a membership. Very disappointed!!

If I could give it no stars, I would. I've been an employee in the fitness industry since 2009. As a member, I'm very low maintenance, but when you've got the evening staff cutting the lights off 15 minutes before closing in areas where there are still at least 4 members visibly working out, then there's a big problem. If they were my employees, they would be fired on the spot.

Updated from 3 to 2 after latest layout change which basically removed any clear path from one place to the other. It's a maze of machines. Good staff, nice crowd, well maintained but WAY too crowded both in terms of the amount of people and also the amount of machines squeezed into the space. Hard to have a good flowing workout when busy. Blink should open a second branch in Harlem above 125th st.

Needs a lot more strength equipment and fewer cardio machines. Many of the bikes and treadmills, even during peak hours, are empty. Two more squat racks and expanded space for the dumbbells would make this spot ideal.

I've been going here regularly for about a month and a half. Great staff, always clean, not crowded at all when I go in the morning. They just changed the location of all of the weights and (I think) added more racks and benches, and it's a huge improvement.

An employee by the name of Rob went into the system that they use to take down all of the members personal information and contacted my little sister. Saying he hoped that she didn't mind him looking up her information to contact her. Shortly after he informed her that he had our address information and her email.
This is beyond unprofessional. When I called to speak with a manager 2 different employees asked me what it was in regards to. Once I told them, they did everything in their power to protect their coworker. Insisting that the manager Maria was not taking calls at the moment, even though it was during business hours and to try again tomorrow. When I asked for their names, they gave me false names and made mockery of the situation.
This is by far the most disturbing and poorly handle situation I have ever encountered. I encourage you to please take your business else where. I hope that many other females that attend this facility are not also being harassed and contacted outside of business related reasons.
Very sad, and poorly handled Blink, we are now looking for new memberships elsewhere.

Used this gym for about six weeks and loved it. It is usually pretty busy, but it never felt over crowded. The price was cheaper than I was expecting for Manhattan, and the entire space was well maintained.
