LOVE this studio! Has a cute book store in the front and a super community vibe. Personal favorites is their now WEEKLY Vino and Vinyasa series. It's so nice that a studio takes the time to foster the community and encourage friendships between their students. I've had so much fun meeting other Yogis after class over wine across the street. Classes are perfect for all levels and the space is beautiful!
I love this studio! Jewel City is a space with energetic yogis on the schedule, who work tirelessly to make sure your personal goals are met. They're friendly, fierce, and kind to all who enter. Plus, you can bring the complimentary tea into the practice room. They recently renovated to include a bookstore full of incredible books and trinkets, too! What got me in the door was their $25 unlimited first week deal. After that, their monthly fees were reasonable, but their incredible auras kept me coming back Highly recommend!

I love Jewel City's community-focused philosophy. They have a great variety of instructors and are conscientious about never turning anyone away due to lack of funds. Very happy that they are my neighborhood yoga studio.

I just tried on of their classes for the first time and it was LOVELY. The space is calming, the teachers move around the class to help adjust your poses (so important) and I worked muscles I forgot I had! Would certainly go back.
My favorite yoga studio in Brooklyn. I love Marc's classes. He has a grounding presence and his cues have helped me overcome obstacles to grow my practice.

It is unfortunate that brooklyn yoga collective is closing a few months after Jewel City arrived. I went to Jewel City twice and while classes were fine, I wasn't a huge fan of environment. It felt kind of bougie and artificial- as if we were temporarily borrowing the space from a retail store. Also, both times I was there, people kept opening and closing the door (a problem if you are in the back and its winter). I don't really enjoy doing yoga in this environment but alas, I will probably have to until BYC finds a new location.
