There is an African american Male worker here who wears a black shirt and black pants that is very rude and should be fired. Planet fitness please train your employees on good customer service. The other workers here are pleasant except this one particular worker

I just went to the PF at 2228 Church Ave so my wife can cancel and I can't believe the scam. She joined a year ago for $20 a month with my daughter at $10. We've tried for weeks now to cancel membership then to be told come back another day. We get charged new rate of $40 EACH and try canceling again to then be told were gonna charged another $80 because it's past cancel date. This is a scam and I'm gonna tell everyone never to join this gym.

Nice place for a good workout if you are a busy person
But not for heavy workout if you wanna become a bodybuilder

My only problem is the people using more then one machine as if it is there own equipment , meaning doing 1set on bench press then 1set on low row then going back to bench press to do 2nd set with no regard for others who do complete sets on one machine & then become territorial when you ask to use machine .. never had that problem with equinox I just may go back once this contract is up

The planet has all the machines anyone can possibly want to get fit, but the circuit room offers one the possibility to get your VO Max and and your abs ripped in a single moment. No one else appreciates the circuit room, where one can work on explosive movement, so I often have the room to myself. The things that might make the planet even better would be cloth towels to wipe up sweat, soap dispensers in showers and more eclectic music, rather than country and pop.

The general manager is not professional at all I had to ran behind him to talk about a bad smile that was bothering me while I was exercising, the weights are broken, and they removed one the rope without putting a notice about it. The other employees are very nice but the gym has to be improved especially the general manager, thank you

This is a nice place, more equipments for training. There is a lockers for women, lockers for men. The centre has restroom for men and women separately. Their staff is really nice, the lady staff at the reception is super cool, polite and welcoming.

Least I forget they have water available for free.

24/4 open 24hrs for 4 days of the week, this alone beats any other gym. The other 3 days are open the usual times that any other gym closes on the weekend.

This is what defines a steal, $10 a month for a very large gym.

- unlimited tootsie rolls (I eat one after I drink pre workout, cuz no one likes the taste of pre workout)

-free pizza every month

-free bagels every month

Plenty of machines to work with, their will always be a machine available for you to use. What other gym does all of this for $10 a month?.

Staff is extremely nice and well spoken as well as informative.

The manager that is the most nicest man I've could ever meet explains everything to you you have a trainer there the very courteous the bathroom is clean and they put fresh flowers in the women's bathroom smells so good it's spacious and overall it's just a great place to go for $10 can't beat it

Very dirty, always unpleasant smell, unsecured locker. Rush hours are very busy, hard to find place to workout. Open 24/5 and hours change on holidays. Use locker your own risk. No place for parking very hard to find parking, because this the most busiest palace in Brooklyn

Hit or miss it's either really nice and clean and empty or the complete opposite. The price is very negotiable and I'm not a body builder yet..... Lol so I'm not affected by the rules about being a lunk.

The place is always dirty, there was a comment below "unloved" - yes indeed. Bathroom is filthy. Equipment is working and I see big group of people enjoying their classes with the trainer. Always friendly. The rest of the crew not so. I Am traveling from Midwood to this place, because it is more convenient for me to use as right now. Please please please fix your tanning mashies. It's always something with them. I joined your gym and paying for black card. I don't understand why I am paying for service I am not receiving and getting rolled eyes from your staff instead. Please fix it.

Everyone's going to have a different experience but so far I've never had a bad experience with any employees or other gym goers here. Everyone is quite friendly and while there aren't enough weights, that's more of a problem with Planet Fitness and not this specific gym. There's also plenty of cardio equipment so I've never needed to wait!

It's a great gym for cardio but not bodybuilding. To tone up lose fat, perfect gym. To become Mr Olympia no.

The locker rooms are dirty and filthy, inside the lockers is rusty and most of the loops where you put your lock is clipped or cut. The gym area looks dirty and run down with all the machines. It also look like there was some break ins from the look at lockers. It's a convenient location, but the staff is friendly it's just the appearance of workout area and locker that gives a bad rating.

Clean gym which is great however the staff members are not too informative. I've had a couple of bad experiences and those were only because of the people who either not informed or misinformed me at the front desk. They seem a little lackadaisical on the weekend and it tends to be really annoying. The gyms great. Not too crowded. The staff just needs to work on their professionalism.

Planet Fitness on Broadway half of the time you can not get any solution paper towel to clean the machines people do not clean the machines when they get off the ladies bathroom is dirty half of the bikes don't work the mats are filthy the one on Duffield Street downtown Brooklyn is dirty same thing no paper towel to wipe the machine off bathroom is dirty half the time you can't get any toilet paper no soap the floor is dirty inside the locker room the workers are lazy they do not clean as often as they should they do not come around and check if. The floor needs to be cleaned often enough if the bathroom is dirty they just lazy

This gym has decent and up-to-date equipment. There are at least two of each machine so you usually don't have to wait much for any.
The one negative is that most members don't re-rack or clean up free weights after they are finished so it can appear messy or you cannot be sure if things in the free weights area are actually in use or free.
