The cleanliness and sanitation of this location is not mantained as others. If you go at the end of the night to avoid the crowds, the whole place smells like a dirty sweaty gym bag. The stretching floor area smelled so bad I skipped my stretch. Hopefully because of the virus they are actually sanitizing properly. The Heth department should visit gyms just like they do restaurants.
Place is good however they are not flexible for people who travel once in a while to another location and want to use the gym once or twice, specially considering Actors work out there, Pretty LAME.
Contacted them numerous times without follow up. Was very frustrated. The reason I am giving 5 stars is because of the AGM Kory who addressed my concerns and was receptive to my criticism. He did not lose his cool and remained level headed. Hire more individuals like Kory. Thanks!

I prefer this gym than blink fitness on Marcy ave, at least they hold your keys until you finish your work out without giving you a ghetto attitude.

I have never in my life felt less valued as a member to a health club. This gym only wants your money and they will take it every chance they can get. Finally quit after they refused (with an attitude) to wave a $30 fee for putting my membership on hold for a month (first time I had attempted to do that after being a member for two years). Also when you quit you're still charged for 45 days of membership (as opposed to the usual month). Just another example of how they get you every chance they can. An arm and a leg for a gym that's overcrowded, whose classes are always full, and that closes at 8pm on weekends. I'm headed back to SOMA. It's clean, never over crowded, and less than half the price.

This is the epitome of corporate greed. The gym was ridiculously oversold when it opened, yet they continue to walk potential clients through. You literally must wait in line to use the floor area for sit ups! Disappointed. I just cancelled my membership.
I Love this qym & the people is very nice especially the equinox crew afternoon maintenance 2pm until 11 give her a raise she is the best
This Equinox is super clean. The staff and trainers are really helpful and attentive to your needs.
Almost a luxury... 3/4 of the typical Equinox experiance... a great addition to the neighborhood with a huge space filled with light. Its fully equipet but the class offerings are meager. I struggle to understand the bizzare layout... you have to enter at street level go up one flight of stairs and the across all the gym and then down another flight of stairs to get to the changing rooms, and then go back up to the floor to work out. The place doesn't have a juice/protein shake bar as the most other equinox places do making the experiance a little less wholesome. (There s one 3 blocks down) The changing rooms are spacious, although there are only 2 toilets (again bizzare design choice) They have 2 class rooms but thry are more idel than they are being used. The management is friendlt is efficient. The trainers are knowledgeable although with a high turnover. I greatful for the addition to the hood but its obviouse they skimped on design and facility... its like williamsburg doesnt derve a full Equinox
The trainers take their time with you and give you the individual attention you need, no matter how packed the class gets. I've learned so much over the last few months, Equinox Williamsburg has changed not just how I work out, but my confidence in myself. Give it a try. You won't be sorry.

Great layout. One large floor with weights, cardio, etc. Brand new
It is nice and new, but it doesn't offer as much variety as the Manhattan clubs.
