Wow, this is the first Blink gym that I have seen, which actually has a Bench Press setup. In fact, it has two of them. Also, this is the first Blink location, which I have seen that has 2.5 pound plates and I have been to most of them in Brooklyn and the one in Jamaica. By having 2.5 pound plates, this allows someone to go up in strength by 5 pound increments, instead of the usual 10 at most Blinks. Perhaps even more importantly, the risk of injury is greatly reduced when someone increases their load in 5 pound increments, instead of 10 pound increments. It is true that this place is a little stuffy, so cardio is definitely out of the question. That is, unless someone wants to simulate a cardio workout in 90 degree weather, with 100% relative humidity.
