I visited for a free intro lesson, and was thoroughly impressed with how welcoming everyone was. Clearly one of the main reasons to join a school is the instruction, and Sifu Ethan and the team deliver well on that. Additionally, they focus on building a inclusive environment so that people from all backgrounds, experience levels and ages can learn together. I was so impressed I joined that day.

I have stepped in here with zero background in martial arts (or sports) what so ever. Sifu Ethan is a great teacher and everyone else is very welcoming and helpful even tough I am like a disoriented octopus almost all the time. Come and see for yourself.

I went to the demo class this evening. I have a martial arts back round Kung Fu for the last 15 years or so. I've visited a lot of martial arts schools, taken demo classes and go through the process of introducing myself to the schools and their art. Brooklyn Wing Tsun is a gem in Brooklyn for Wing Tsun. The Sifu Ethan is vibrant and involved with the students training. He works hands on making sure you keep to the proper form and you understand its application.

The class is fun and the people who attend were very welcoming I didn't get any feeling of superiority or inferiority everyone seemed happy to be there and happy to learn. The most important part of any Martial Arts training is that you like it and you're having a good time. I strongly suggest anyone who has an interest in self defense and or Wing Tsun at the very least take a demo class and see for themselves.

BKWT is a family ready to welcome you with open arms and to teach you how to kick ass (but only if you must)! Si-fu's attitude is that of a most gracious---and simultaneously, most bad-ass---father. He is patient, yet extremely diligent, and focused on aiding us in the development of skills and concepts for practical defense. There are no magic energy balls here, but once you train with Sifu Ethan... you won't need them anyway.

I am so grateful to have found Brooklyn Wing Tsun. Sifu Ethan is a wonderful teacher who has created a challenging and supportive environment. This school is also a part of the City Wing Tsun association which means you have the opportunity to interact with a large community of teachers and students from around the city. If you are thinking about learning a martial art or are just curious about Wing Tsun you should not hesitate to come by.

Get ready for a workout! Sifu Ethan Hampton will take you through the intricacies and practice of Wing Tsun in a friendly, focused environment. Learn self defense from an expert while breaking a serious sweat! Always an adventure, each class teaches practical fighting techniques and encourages physical fitness. But you won't notice how tired you are, because you'll be learning Kung Fu!

Seriously, I have nothing but good thing to say about both Sifu Ethan and the school. The other students are kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is a lot less Kobra Kai and a lot more Mr Miyagi (for you martial arts fantaticos). Focus, practical use, form, and fitness, are preferred over MMA style flourishes. You'll love it.
