Top end blink. I was impressed with the variety of equipment and the number of cardio equipment. They only have 2 squat racks though.
Blink Fitness is the best gym in the city, and the world. Facility is extremely modern, fun, clean, and exceptionally well run. Great trainers, great environment, great space, everything there is great, 100% recommended. I love this Gym. The people, the culture they have is great. I like to work out with their heavy bags and is a fun thing to do there. Everyone is amazing there!
Basic, effortless. Like being in prison with Turks and blondes. The cost effective solution to fitness in Midtown east.

This gym has a serious problem with capacity. It is WAY TOO CROWDED to ever workout. Combined with the snobby members the area attracts and the seriously inattentive staff, you are actually better off going ANYWHERE else. Even a park.

Great value.. During peak hours, it is congested. But pricewise ok.
The staff at this gym are all amazingly friendly. The locker rooms are clean and the machines are good. It gets busy in the after work hours, but it's a great, encouraging place. The trainers are all phenomenal as well.

The space is larger than most Blinks, to be sure, but there's a lot to dislike: plates and weights are never in the right spot, if they're racked at all. The personal trainers are always asking you to leave machines. You can still hear the (generally bad) music over iPhone headphones at full. Plus (and I know this isn't Blink's fault, but it beats mentioning) the clientele is just....awful -- imagine a gym full of Murray Hill Kevins. Anyway, very clean and I still come here five days a week!!!!

Blink was OK, it had a lot of different machines only one barbell bench press though. I went on a guest pass after work around 1 o'clock in the afternoon on a Wednesday and it was semi crowded. 30 minutes in the weights area and their were 10 people around me. Plenty of treadmills, Staff was friendly didn't take a shower so I can't speak on that area but for the price you pay a month this Blink seems OK.
After half a month of signing up (online) I realized I made a mistake and then cancelling the membership has been the worst. their policy to cancel the membership is to come in person and cancel it , so that they convince you into it again. I couldnt go in person so I sent my friend, which they denied even though knowing the both of us. I went a couple of months later by then I already had a huge amount overdue in my account. I spoke to the manager (took me two weeks and in person visits to get a hold of him) and he gives my the example of "Netflix" that they keep charging irrespective of you using it or not. I said I had the option of signing up online, we are in 2018 so why cant we cancel online! apparently its their policy to make sure they can extract whatever amount of money they can till you come in person and cancel it. Customer experience -100.. honestly gym at your place rather than have such a bad experience cancelling it.

I really like this gym. Stuff is super nice, the gym has all of the quipment needed, it is clean and the atmosphere is nice.

Small and clean with all the necessary equipment. Can get packed, definitely worth it to go on off peak hours. Only wish they removed some of the machines on the second floor so they can add more weight equipment.
I originally thought blink fitness was a gym that was not out to scam people, however I was wrong. When I signed up for my blink membership I was choosing between the green and gray package, which are both nicely outlined on the home page of each location. Since I was happy with the amenities of the green package I clicked "Join." I was immediately brought to the contact and payment page and in 5 minutes I was signed up to be a blink member. What I did not notice on the lower right hand side of the page in small font (smaller and not bolded like everything else on the page) was that this was a 12 year agreement. Naturally, that was not mentioned anywhere else during my registration. Immediately, when a co-worker had told me what I had done I went down to blink to fix this. Of course this is when the typical gym scam occurs. To cancel and change my membership I had to pay a penalty of $80 and the staff was not helpful at all. They said they asked the clubhouse manager about the issue which consisted of a 2 second phone call off to the side which was unsuccessful. I can't express how angry and foolish I felt because I had thought blink was different than every other gym out there. Now since I am writing this review I would like to share my additional thoughts about blink...you get what you pay for. The showers have no towels and the "body wash/shampoo dispensers" might as well have been from your local gas station bathroom. So if you plan on showering there don't forget to pack your suitcase. In addition, if you want a treadmill at 5 o'clock good luck. You might as well run home and call it day.
Sterling and Sabrina were both very helpful during sign up. However, as soon as I went to cancel my membership the tone changed dramatically. Both of these "managers" were aggressive, hung up on me multiple times, and refused cancel my membership. Of course they will blame they're tone on me (the customer) but don't let them fool you. Just do yourself a favor and don't join this gym. I'm honestly disgusted by these employees behavior and it should not be acceptable. I would love to talk to customer service about this, but of course they are unreachable as well.
There are so many better options in NYC, you've been warned.
I have been going to this gym for the past 3 months or so. For the price you pay, it has everything.. I was very satisfied... It does get super crowded after work hours... And when you would think that working out on a weekend would be more peaceful...Quite mistaken... The cleaning lady starts picking up weights and starts working the vacuum at 5:30 (the gym closes at 7).. Its very distracting and annoying...she would not let me finish my sets...by the time I turn around and am taking a break between sets.. my weights go missing..replaced in the weight rack by the cleaning lady ..I really hope they take this into notice and maybe pay the lady overtime to work for a half hour extra after the gym closes...
The size is a little small compared to other Blink locations. But has lots of machines and clean. They have personal trainers. For the price I pay ($23/month) it's pretty good.
Staffs are friendly enough, depends on the time of day you going. There are lots of lockers but only 4 showers. In the morning there are lines sometimes to take a shower but it goes fast. People are understand everyone got to got to work.
First off, the gym is on two floors and both of them are small. The front desk staff is extremely unfriendly. I've actually said 'hello' and gotten no response. I purposely say goodbye knowing they're not going to respond. I've been there when a female maintenance worker was cleaning the men's room with men coming in and out urinating and using the stalls. I think unisex bathrooms are great but you don't see men walking around naked or wearing towels in those bathrooms. Some members work out in groups and dominate the equipment. Don't go after work because it's packed to the point where it's difficult to move around. I've been to many, many Blink clubs and this location is by far the worst. Stay away.
Its not a 5 and its not 3. But it gets the job done. Was member at Equinox for 8 years. After realizing the value is only in the classes, went to Blink. For $280 for the full year (2 months at Equinox), it is a major value, BUT, know what you are getting. Its clean, has tons of equipment, esp treadmills, but it is no frills. It can be insanely crowded, there are no towels, etc. Equinox is always right next door for a mere $2k/year those who are complaining. For the rest of us if you have the right expectations, this place is exactly what you should be thinking you are getting. Eucalyptus towels I'll miss you.
Staff on the desk is not well trained. One agent needed to be repeated same answer three times! He did not seem to know how to deliver information clearly and precisely. The space is clean and it has enough equipment for the fees. Yet the way the memberships are set up is not so clear
This place is a scam. When I went to cancel membership, they charged me 81 dollars to cancel. It takes 45 days and then they charge you an annual fee on top of that. so you basically pay another 3 months. You cannot transfer your membership to anywhere else unless you either pay to upgrade and get locked in for a year, OR pay to cancel, and then start over at another location. READ the fine prints.... there is always a catch. I was told there was no annual fee when I signed up, that I would just be charged for "maintenance" after 3 months. I cancelled after 2 months, but since it takes "45 days to cancel" i was still charged a maintenance fee. Horrible.
