Working with Lisa has been life changing. I have struggled with weight loss and binge eating pretty much my whole life. After trying many different diets I usually get to the same plateau on my weight, end up giving up in frustration, and usually putting all the weight back on. About a year ago I decided to give keto a try and hit my usual weight loss wall. This time around I decided to make a change and get some help from Lisa. Since working with Lisa (about 5 months now), I have lost over 20 pounds and 10% body fat. Not only have I lost weight and fat but the whole composition of my body has changed in such a drastic and positive way that friends and family members have reached out to Lisa to make appointments. Currently I am about 15 pounds under my usual plateau weight and my body has yet to slow down. Before meeting with Lisa I felt as if I was white knuckling a diet, trying so hard to stay in control of it. With her help and guidance I have been following this new lifestyle with absolute ease. I do not feel hungry or restricted ever. She helped me tweak what I thought was Keto into an actual whole foods oriented sustainable healthy way of living. She has guided me through what caloric intake, macros breakdown, workouts, etc are good for ME and MY BODY. She has such a positive upbeat attitude that even when I have a bad weigh in week she will talk me through it and I always walk out of her office feeling better. I highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for any type of nutritional services!

Lisa is highly skilled no doubt, but her energy, understanding, and openness is extra special. I'm so grateful to have met her and to have her be part of my health and fitness practice. Lisa's calm and understanding nature make her a pleasure to see every week. Not only is she very present and engaging during our sessions, but she follows up by email and even by phone to make sure all of my questions and concerns are addressed. She also proactively sends me information she thinks I will use. LivingProof is exactly that - Living Proof!! I became a vegetarian over 16 years ago partly for religious reasons but also in an attempt to avoid the diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension that plagues my family. I prided myself on my "no flesh of any kind" diet discipline over the years..so you can imagine the shock that I got when I was diagnosed with diabetes two years ago! What's worse, all of the research on-line to find the natural way (spirulina, chlorella, cinnamon, etc) to 'fix' myself did not work. No, not all vegetarians / vegans are healthy. After two futile and frustrating years of trying to reach my goal of getting off the harmful medicine utilized to combat diabetes and even more so, to avoid having to go on insulin therapy, I acknowledged that I needed help.
My Google search for a vegetarian nutritionist led me to Lisa Jubilee of LivingProof Nutrition and Fitness, and now I can realistically say that my goal is within reach! As we reviewed my medical data and meal journal on my first visit, Lisa's knowledge of nutrition, professionalism, and genuine sincerity put me at ease and allowed me to open up to her, and that proved to be significant because it took honest and thorough introspection to root out the causes behind what was my unhealthy relationship with food. As I began to be more diligent with the customized plan that Lisa created for me, I began to see improvement with my glucose levels. Prior to coming to LivingProof my blood glucose levels would range from 120 to over 250 during the day even though I was taking prescription medication..my fasting blood sugar levels were especially high! After just two months of following her plan, which she continually tweaked based on my preferences,metabolic rate, and weight, my blood sugar levels are well within the normal range (70 - 100)! My doctor has cut my prescription dosage in half as the normal dosage brings my blood sugar too low! Thanks to Lisa, my goal of beating diabetes is truly becoming a possibility.

Living Proof NYC us a very special place. I do not like gyms but I no longer dread working out. It has a very comfortable warm intimate and friendly environment plus they have state of the art equipment. The personal trainers are high quality professionals who work you hard and keep track of your progress and I can see the results in my body! The best part is that it is only a 30 minute workout and I do not have to change into work out clothes or shower after my workout. I have also taken advantage of using their Nutrition Services and lost the weight that I had gained and learned new ways to keep the weight off. Honestly this is a Great Facility and I would recommend this place for everyone.
