This place pushes the use of essential oils on pets. Essential oils are extremely dangerous to use around pets, especially cats. They will host "free" seminars and then pressure you to buy expensive packages in whatever they're selling that week. Anything but holistic, be wary of this owner and her practices.
We hosted a 'Night Market' during the holidays at Root Studios and brought in Family of Light Holistic Center as one of our interactive partners last month. Kate and the on-site team/owners were amazing at the event and extremely professional. They were both informative and charismatic, which are key traits you'd want from a partner, especially during a heavily trafficked event!
We received great feedback from the attendees, as everyone loved getting their aura and energy read. One of the best takeaways from the reading also includes a cute polaroid! Following up on the event, 2 weeks later, each participant was sent a personalized and extensive chakra report which was really great to refer back to. We would 100% partner up with Family of Light Holistic Center again for another event/gathering!

I worked with Family of Light for a corporate networking reception, and it was a huge success! Pre-event communications were prompt and responsive, and Kate was lovely to work with on-site. Our attendees were excited to participate in the experience, and it served as a great conversation topic. Kate's setup also brought a great energy to the event. I would definitely recommend Family of Light for future events if you're looking for something fun and unique for your attendees.
Love the center! Went with them to the Detox retreat last year and it was super transformational for me. A combination of deep knowledge, companionate teachers and staff, strong principle and idea - this is what attracted me the most. On the retreat had amazing realizations and insights that helped me move in life easier and resolve some deep issues that I had.
A really unique service that they have is Aura Photography! I tried it at the retreat ( they do it to see the difference in the beginning and the end of the retreat) and I was amazed of how accurate it was! After I came few more times to track the changes in my energy and in my state! For me right now it's a great tool of self-care where I can see what's going on with my body and my energy!
Now coming to yoga classes few times a month! It's not a lot but I already feel the difference and a positive shift for myself!

This place is magical. it transformed my life. i learned so much! i have attended 2 retreats already and now know what is the right way to eat and to live. Have so many aspirations now! i am very excited to be a part of family of light. Ihar and Alaknanda's energy is always so calming and uplifting at the same time. When i leave that place, i am always happy, centered and ready for more. You learn about yourself and how you function. You then learn how you can improve yourself and your life. I highly recommend "family of light" to everyone !

A place for transformations! There are many Yoga Centers, but you haven't experienced anything like this center yet. This center has endless programs to help you grow and heal all aspects of your life - physical, emotional, spiritual.... Their retreats are life-changing and transforming, in ways you cannot imagine until you experience them for yourselves. A truly unique experience full of wisdom, knowledge, yoga, amazing meditation techniques, and energy healing modalities and are truly life changing. I feel very fortunate and thankful for this center's existence!! Thank you Family of Light Holistic Center for being an absolute GEM!
I wanted to say thank you to ihar and alakhandra for opening my eyes on the retreat and teaching me how to be whole and how to treat myself well. I used to think treating myself well was to go out , drink , sleep till noon and eat what ever I want . But that's how I ran myself into a lot of physical pain and for years could not understand why my muscles hurt all the time ...
Since the retreat , I have been a vegan , no more coffee, I do yoga every morning and meditate . I learned how to heal myself emotionally and mentally . I feel alive ! I signed up and go to yoga and dance whereas for years I was waiting to go only if someone joins me...
I became independent and much much happier !!
I am just so very thankful !!! You both are a godsend to me and whose ever lives you touch!!!
I recently went on a spiritual retreat in Egypt with FoL. What a life-changing experience! Ala and Igor, along with their trusty sidekick Kate, are experts in all things spiritual. They never force anything down your throat but instead guide you to be your best self through life enhancing methods like meditation and subconscious healing. While in Egypt everyone in our group made significant self discoveries using ancient energies, healing techniques, and guidance from the experts at FoL. A+++
