I've taken plenty of spin classes in my time in New York, and none have brought me such a sense of community and enjoyment as BYKlyn has. I've taken a variety of times for classes with quite a few of the instructors, and they all truly love what they're doing, and want you to love it too. I don't know how they do it, but the instructors always remember my name, and the reception team takes note of your preferred shoes, so when you check in you don't even have to do anything, they already have handed you what you need. The classes themselves are phenomenal. This is a "sexy shoulders" free zone which I really appreciate. Everything done on the stationary bike is something that can be done on a real bicycle; no dancing on the bike, no weights, just a ride that will have you feeling it for at least the next day. Nicole's Friday night class is my favorite across the board, though. Its 60 minutes of pure endurance, but somehow, the class flies by. Probably because Nicole is right in there with you, sometimes even getting off the podium bike to join you in the "classroom" to get through the muddy parts. I can't recommend BYKlyn highly enough, its the real deal when it comes to safe, fun, fitness, and community.
