Kinespirit was a delightful experience from the moment I first called to make an appointment. As a GYROTONIC and Pilates teacher myself, I was looking for somewhere I could enjoy taking a class and being challenged. I was not disappointed! The instructors I took classes from (Megan and Calleja) were excellent, helping me dive deeper into my practice and build strength.
This down to earth studio full of passionate and knowledgeable instructors made me feel instantly at home. In my short trip to New York, the time I invested here was well spent, and I hope to return again soon.

I can't say enough good thing about this studio. Every instructor has a deep knowledge of the body and is a great guide to gaining strength and avoiding injury. They're also pretty good at putting their own spin on a workout and have something to teach even the most experienced Pilates or Gyro fan. The massage therapists who work out of the studio are also fantastic. All around, this is a squad of fantastic women - and a couple of men - who really know what they are doing, are serious about doing what they do - and doing it well - but are also deeply compassionate and fun.
In a matter of weeks, I already started feel the effects of my work at Kinespirit, an UWS gem. The expert teachers -- and the serene atmosphere of the studio -- make exercising a pleasure. The classes are an affordable option. And I can touch my toes for the first time in years!
