I started doing pilates about 1.5 ago (no prior experience) at Moving Strength West. Desira Barnes made me feel very comfortable in the class even though I had no clue what I was doing. I loved the way she made sure every student was doing the exercises correctly and had the proper form. I have a bad back and she (as well as all of the other teachers that I have since been in class with) are so knowledgable and can make modification for any injuries or exercises that do not feel right. The studio is small and intimate I enjoyed taking 1-2 classes /week so much that I recently switched to the unlimited package. I have tried other classes as well as different teachers at Moving Strength ie reformer, tower, jump board, and chair all of which have been great. Besides Desira, I have thoroughly enjoyed classes with Arrie, Patricia(the owner), Jose etc. They are fantastic -each with their own special personalities that make the 55 minutes whiz by I am so grateful I totally love it !!! that I stumbled across this terrific studio!!!
