Loved it! My first time floating and it was such an experience. The facility has tea and is very relaxing. Loved having my own private room to shower and float. I had a super peaceful time and will definitely try to make it back.

I love this place! Prices are fair for the (beyond exceptional) quality of service. Very clean and zen atmosphere. Staff is super friendly and helpful!

I love this midtown spa for infrared sauna and float therapy sessions in their special tub rooms. It truly feels like a respite from the city life daily grind. I feel completely refreshed and relaxed after a couple hours spent here. Highly recommend checking it out for any treatment although I have yet to try acupuncture, yoga or other treatments.

Don't go for the salt room or salt cave, because you will be disappointed. I've been to other salt rooms in the past and was expecting a similar experience, where salt blows into the room and the entire room is lined with salt, heated lamps, and you can really tell you're breathing in the salt. But this was a tiny closet or bathroom stall sized room with a fancy massage chair. The room is lightly heated and the walls are lined with salt bricks, but I can't tell a difference from sitting in there for 30 mins. To me, sitting in there in the massage chair was no different from going to Brookstone or Bed Bath and Beyond and sitting in one of the demo chairs. I didn't smell the salt or feel any difference, which I normally do from other holistic treatments and other salt rooms. I would say skip this and try something else. The yoga class I did was part of an event and that was fine. The people who work there are all really nice - nothing against them. My honest opinion is this salt room/cave is an overpriced and ineffective service. But I'm picky about services and results and this one didn't do it for me.

Definitely recommend for first time floaters. Customer service was exceptional. Shoutout to melissa, she was great!

I love this facility.
Took an incredible vinyasa class here during lunch time on a weekday.

Class was lightly attended - only 4 of us.
Facility is clean and GORGEOUS. They have a yoga studio on the top floor with an entire windowed ceiling. All props are in great condition and clean.
Instructor was so knowledgeable, the perfect amount of spiritual, provided modifications for anyone who couldn't make any pose work efficiently or safely. She helped you ease into a pose with her help if you gave her permission.

I felt so freaking relaxed after this challenging, awesome class. I will be back in a heartbeat. I left feeling like I knew the other 3 ladies in class. The teacher is the reason for this. What an open, easy environment she created. So, so great.

You need to check it out!!!! HIGHLY recommend.

Jessica is the best! She's very skilled and knowledgeable, she's really helped me, I've been going to her for a few months. She's very good at making sure to pay attention to the areas that need extra attention and recommends what I need to do to further my progress. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming, always a good experience when I go to there. The price is excellent, even better if you can buy multiple sessions! Floating Lotus is very relaxing inside, you feel at home and comfortable right away.

Wonderfully friendly staff, harmonious and relaxed atmosphere. Made a complete novice feel at ease.

I like the atmosphere in the place and decided to have my facial there, unfortunately I had an accident to be late for it 15 mins. Daya was my technician and I wanted to like her, but she was rushing the whole time, even though I was her last client and they were still open, she could have done a better job, but my nose and my chin were not extracted very well. I would understand it if there was a client after me, but for the price they are charging about the facial, she could have done a better job. I won't be returning for her services.

Had my first facial at floating lotus with Jill. She was helpful, informative and did a great job at making me feel comfortable.

Second facial just succeeded in stressing me out because I felt incredibly uncomfortable with Natalia. She did not explain any of the products she used, nor the steps she was performing unless I specifically asked. Moreover, every product she used was some kind of anti-bacterial (which is not my concern with my skin, it's dehydration). She did not greet me warmly or ask about my day. She was cold, expressionless and indifferent throughout the entire facial. At the most, she had some negative comments about my skin that made me feel uncomfortable. Lastly, there was no shoulder or arm massage that should be part of the deep cleansing facial. Natalia kind of just slapped the bottom of my face numerous times, which also did not live up to par with my experience with Jill (who actually knew what she was doing).

I told the manager my concerns. Sadly, I regret paying $120 that I could have used to get a much better facial elsewhere. Not sure if I'll ever go back to floating lotus after that nightmare.

Edits: Jill reached out to me after my second facial. She was able to rectify the situation. She provided me with another facial. She understands my skin and helps me understand how to take better care of it. I felt valued as a customer and would highly recommend trying Jill for a facial.

My 1st floating session seems to be helping my muscle spasms. They have a PT dept and take my insurance. I will be back!

tried the floating therapy. Awkward at first but fun, relaxing experiences. Yogi teachers are very nice

My wife bought me Floating Lotus as a birthday gift. It was a wonderful experience. The water felt a bit hot at the beginning but it was perfect in a short while. You must turn off the lights and close your eyes. You'll lose the sense of time. It was an interesting journey for me. The tube is not that deep at all but I felt like I'm floating on an ocean when I close my eyes. First let the lights on for a while but you have to turn them off if you want the experience.

DO NOT FORGET TO NEUTRALIZE YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

I was given a gift certificate for mothers day for a floating salt water treatment and decided it would be fun to bring a friend, so I got her a certificate for her birthday. We went to the spa looking forward to a relaxing experience. The girl that greeted us was very nice but told us she was just covering for someone and could not answer some of the questions we had. That was ok except for the fact her lack of knowledge turned out to make the experience not exactly great for us. She did not go over almost any details. It was not until after our hour was up both my friend and I noticed the sheet of paper in the room explaining the things she should have told us, or at least she could have shown us the paper! We both were not given ear plugs, were not told where the lights were so we both left with water in our ears and were pretty sure the experience would have been better had we be told the details on the sheet. Also, I used the bathroom before floating and had to clean dried pee from the toilet seat. We were there pretty early on a Monday. so there is no reason the bathroom should seem like it had not been clean in a while. The whole point of coming to a place like this is to relax, I would bet there are better options out there for the salt floating experience.

An absolute oasis in the city! Perhaps one of the best facials I have ever had and the staff was incredibly kind and friendly as well. Looking forward to returning for yoga and other services.

This one star review is for the common folk out there looking to float. Looks like for 150 bucks you get and hour and for $200 you get 90 minutes of floating, which is the worst deal I have seen anywhere (but hey , this is is new york city). Unfortunately, it does seem to be becoming the norm for these places to cater exclusively to the wealthy. Also, if you're really looking for benefits beyond a little relaxation, I (and many other experienced floaters) highly recommend floating for at least 2 hours, but somehow, the majority of these joints offer 1 or 1.5 hour floats. Cheaper high quality facilities are out there - it may just take a little digging and, unfortunately for new yorkers, some travel....

Floating Lotus is the perfect destination for total relaxation and all your laser needs. Jackie's laser expertise make my laser treatments comfortable and reliable. I have had 2 facials with Angel and her hands are magical, my skin was left glowing and moisturized. I highly recommend Floating Lotus for your next spa or wellness visit, I can not wait to try acupuncture before my next float!
