Having recently moved to the area, Jaya Yoga is a wonderful escape from the busyness of NYC work-life. We are all so entrenched in our work that we forget to step back. Jaya Yoga is that spiritual Ashram that is a gift to all those residents in Windsor Terrace. It feels like a safe space to escape to in order to find 'center' in our lives. Ever-grateful for its existence in our area. Between the instructors and the ambiance of the actual facility, can't help but feel great joy that it is in our backyard.
When I moved to this neighborhood (Windsor Terrace) from Red Hook, I was sad to leave the yoga community I had been a part of for many years there. Fortunately, Jaya was close by and I stopped in for a class. Every teacher I have worked with there has been inspiring and knowledgeable. I've even brought my kids for the kids classes and Kirtan. I'm grateful to have found a welcoming and loving community here.

Beautiful community studio with friendly atmosphere and spirited instructors.
Great, clean studio with fantastic instructors. If you're a beginner, as I am, you don't feel out of place as the front desk and instructors are kind.
They have a fantastic class schedule, too!
